In a realm hidden far beyond mortal sight, where age means nothing and they remain ever young, the night still echoes with sorrow and the howls of bitter loss.

Selvayra had lost its Luna….Their queen , to a mistake that should have never been possible.

A human had crossed into their sacred realm.

Kaelen Syrus fell to his knees, shattered by grief. His heart, once a pillar of strength, cracked under the weight of her blood on his hands.

“She’s gone…” he choked.

Beside him, his brother—Riven whispered, “It’s going to be alright.” But even his voice sounded hollow as he stared at the bloodied body of the Luna, lifeless beneath the moonlight.

(50 Years Later)

The skies darkened ,but this time, not from grief.

It was a war.

Above the distant realm of Wisteria, witches raised their staffs in defense, hurling spells into the storm. None landed nor mattered. The air turned cold, thick with a looming evil.

A figure hovered high in the storm, his cloak thrashing in the wind. Shadows curled at his feet.

His voice was low, poisonous.

“Wisteria will crumble.” He muttered spells.

With a flick of his hand, darkness poured from the skies. Half the realm was cursed in a blink and he vanished.

But his true destination was elsewhere.

Selvayra.

He stood at its edge now, gazing upon the peaceful land.

They didn’t sense the storm at their doorstep.

He walked through the palace with quiet pride, each step steady and unbothered. There was no rush, no fear….just the calm confidence of someone who had finally tasted power. His eyes held a strange stillness, calm… but deadly.

He entered the royal chambers.

“Riven!” Kaelen’s face lit up, joy breaking through years of sorrow. “Where have you been? I’ve searched everywhere for you.”

Riven ignores him and looks at a portrait of the late Luna at the far corner of Kaelen's chambers.

Confusion slipped into Kaelen’s eyes. “Is there a problem?

Riven turns and stares at him, eyes burning with red embers.

“She’s been dead for fifty years,” he sneered. “Why not join her?”

Without warning, he lunged.

Kaelen barely dodged, stumbling back. “Riven?! What are you doing?!”

But this wasn’t his brother anymore.

The air around Riven twisted with corrupted power. His voice deepened. His magic bled chaos.

Guards stormed in, shifting into their wolves, but they fell like leaves. One wave of Riven’s hand, and their life drained away, bodies crumpling in silence.

“I’ve always hated you,” Riven hissed. “From the moment you were born, my joy died. You were the golden child. I was the shadow.”

Kaelen’s chest tightened. “No... Mother loved you. Father did too—”

“They gave you the throne!” Riven roared. “I was born first! That crown was mine. And I’ll take it, even if I have to drown this palace in blood.”

Magic surged through him as he struck again.

Kaelen fought back, dodging fire-laced spells and wild blasts that shattered the chamber. But he wasn’t defenseless.

He grabbed the ancient staff passed down through their bloodline—the one meant only for the true Alpha King.

He slammed it into the ground.

Light exploded.

The wind howled.

The walls trembled as the power of the ancestors awakened.

A deep rumble echoed.

Then ,the floor split open.

A portal tore through the ground beneath Riven, a swirling storm of black and gold. It roared loudly, pulling at him with brutal force.

“No!” Riven screamed, claws scraping stone. “You can’t do this! I’ll return…I’ll kill you! I’ll rule them all!”

Kaelen stepped forward, face grim.

“By the bloodline of Selvayra,” he declared, “I cast you into Vornyx—the realm of shadow and silence.”

Blinding magic wrapped around Riven, binding him like chains. With a final scream, he was yanked into the void. The portal snapped shut.

(Vornyx; the outlands)

In the cursed silence of the Outlands, Riven howled into the emptiness. No one heard. No one answered.

But deep inside, he knew one thing:

He hadn’t been defeated.

He had planted his seed in Selvayra.

He hadn’t gone to Wisteria just for power.

He had gone… for the Moonmark.

The consorts had returned. Their laughter echoed faintly down the castle halls, but not one of them spoke of Serena. Not one of them remembered her.Naya, however, could not rest. She went to the human’s room, but the bed was untouched. Panic tightened her chest. She hurried straight to Lirvana.“Head Consort.” She bowed quickly. “The human… she is not with you?”Lirvana’s face shifted instantly into a mask of concern, though her eyes gleamed cold.“Ah, true… I haven’t seen her. Do you think perhaps she’s already gone back to her world?”Naya’s brow furrowed. “I think we should inform the King.”Lirvana’s lips softened into a sweet smile. “Of course. Leave that to me. You may go.”Naya hesitated, then bowed again and left. The moment the door shut, Lirvana smirked, her eyes flashing like knives.“By now… she should have learned her lesson.”************** (Throne Room)The Alpha King paced his chambers, silver eyes storm-dark. Serena stumbled backward, her chest heaving. The massive black wolf stalked toward her, eyes glowing silver under the moonlight and burning with hunger.Though her body betrayed her with heat, she couldn’t bear the thought of being touched by the hungry, aroused beast before her.“St–stay away from me!” she stammered, her voice breaking. Her instincts screamed at her to run. She turned and bolted, but the Alpha was faster. She barely got a few steps before he pounced, pinning her flat against the ground. Her glasses slipped from her face, clattering onto the floor. Her vision blurred into a haze of shapes and shadows. She couldn’t tell what burned more…..the crushing weight of the wolf pressing her down or the panic and humiliation of being so utterly helpless. Hell, she couldn't even see clearly.“P–please… don’t touch me,” she begged, her breath shallow, chest rising and falling in panicked waves. The Alpha snarled low, his hot breath sliding down her neck. • Moonmark: The Alpha's Celestial Mate    Chapter 4: Wolves and Whores

Kaelen stood in silence within his visiting chambers….the only place he ever allowed the Omegas and Betas he shared a bed with to enter. His real quarters, the ones he once shared with his mate, were sacred. Off-limits. Even he barely entered them anymore. He kept his back turned as the heavy doors were shoved open from the outside. A thud. Then silence. Serena stumbled in, catching herself before she hit the polished floor. She blinked rapidly and adjusted her glasses, it is something she does whenever she is nervous. Kaelen turned slowly. She was... beautiful. He didn’t want to notice, but it crept in anyway. Caramel-toned skin, soft golden—brown hair that curled a little at the ends. Fragile. But she seemed defiant. She doesn't belong here….at all. Serena’s throat tightened as she took in the room. It was huge. Cold. And at its centre sat a massive bed, dark sheets draped neatly across it. Her eyes darted to the towering man in front of her. "Was this it?" "Does he want

Serena was still on the ground. Her ears were ringing from the absurd demand she’d just heard.Mate? Pups? She blinked up at him, confused and breathless. “What the hell?”Her voice cracked a little. Slowly, she pushed herself upright, wincing as she brushed dust off her clothes.“I think you’ve got the wrong person. I’m human. We don’t… do the whole ‘mating’ thing. We get to know each other, date, kiss, have sex… human to human. And we have kids. Not furry little pups with fangs.”She swallowed hard. “Also, I didn’t mean to end up here. I was running for my life. There was a tiger.”She looked up again.Kaelen was staring at her—silent, unreadable. Like none of what she said mattered. So she stopped talking.“Look, human…”“Serena,” she corrected quietly.“I don’t care about your name.”Her throat dried instantly. All she managed was a quiet, “Okay.”He stepped closer. His voice was low and flat, like a blade she couldn’t see coming.“This bond ,whatever cursed thing led to it, means

  • Moonmark: The Alpha's Celestial Mate    Chapter 2: The Arrival: Into The Wolves Den

The next morning, Serena began her search. She packed a small bag, made sure her phone and camera were fully charged, and hit the road. She drove from one forest to another, chasing rumors and blurry maps, hoping she’d find something…anything, that hinted at Selvayra’s existence. But nothing came up. By nightfall, she was exhausted. The moon was already out, glowing high in the sky as she made her way back to her car. She slipped into the driver’s seat and turned the key. Nothing. She tried again. Still nothing. “You’ve got to be kidding me,” she muttered, slamming the steering wheel. Her heart sank. She couldn’t spend the night out here. She was deep in some backroad forest, and there was no chance of another car driving by. Annoyed, Serena stepped out of the car with her bag and phone. She kicked the front tire out of frustration. Big mistake. “Ahh…dammit!” she groaned, hopping on one foot as pain shot up her leg. She raised her phone, but of course, there wa
