Chapter Thirty Five

After an hour of napping in the bathroom, she finally came out of it. She was met with a well-laid bed with a brown bedspread and a tampon with new pants.

“You’re the best mum.” She muttered to herself, walking closer to the bed also to meet a fresh set of pajamas on it.

Wearing them slowly as she can, she spent another thirty minutes dressing up, blow drying her hair and sitting in front of her mirror, checking her reflection. She picked up the eyeliner and was just about to line her eyes when the door opened, turning to look at her mum who had a distraught look on her face,

“What are you trying to do?” She said to her, her brows deepening on her face.

“Nothing.” Elena replied, covering the lid slowly and putting it back in its place.

Clara eyed her before walking inside, in her hand a tray of hot foods for her girl. She placed it in front of her, placing her hand on her hips after as she stared at Elena.

“Start eating.”
