Chapter Thirty One

“Wakey, Wakey.” Clara hummed as she entered Elena’s room, tapping her legs and shaking her awake.

“In the past days, you’ve been waking up so early I knew it would come down to this. Wake up, Elena; you’ll be late for school.” She added.

Elena shifted in her bed, muttering incoherent words that meant she wanted to be left alone.

“Matthew is already downstairs and he’s waiting for you.”

The sleep in her eyes vanished immediately, seating up all of a sudden and coming to meet her mum’s eyes.

“What!” She exclaimed, rubbing her eyes with her hand.

Clara stared at her daughter and eyed her. She made a loud hiss before turning towards the door.

“Matthew is not here. So get up and dress up before you get late. Silver called me, she’ll be here anytime from now.” She added and walked out.

Elena fell back to the bed, heaving out an exhausted sigh for someone that just woke up.

“Ahhhh!” She breathed out, sitting up and darting her eyes across the room.
