Chapter Thirty Seven

“Sheeesh. You guys should relax.” He added before chuckling, turning to his food and digging back into it.

“You guys look like you’ve been caught with something bad and will faint anytime from now on.”

The bell rang instantly, and Matthew stood up, picked up his bag, and walked off.

“Hey.”

He heard them call out to him but decided not to answer.

He proceeded to his locker to exchange the book in his bags, his mind going back to what his idiot friend might have want to say. He knew there was something, and he might have just stopped because he wanted to.

He left to the class, shaking his head as he walked away. Too many things have been on his mind lately, and he was not even getting the hang of it again. He needed a good sleep or nap.

Like always, the first place his eyes went to as he entered the class was Elena’s seat, his brows raised as he saw her talking to the new girl.

“Thanks.” Elena said to the girl as she handed her a burger, throwing her a smile before unwrapping it.
