I quickly blink my eyes as fast as I can, doing my best to focus my vision.
As my eyes finally begin to focus, I realize I am drifting down a long, wide river. As I try to swim to the shore, I quickly realize how fast the current is picking up and the harder it is becoming to stay afloat, let alone swim.
I start to get pulled under the water and I do my best not to panic but the more I realize that I can't seem to stay afloat the more my body begins to panic, and I knew, deep down. There was no way I was surviving this.
I suck in a couple of deep breaths to the best of my ability and as the water starts to take over more, I let out a final scream for help before the water takes me completely under.
I try to make my way up to the surface, but the current is too strong. I hold my breath, doing my best to not pass out and hoping the current will soon let me up for air.
I try to fight against the water and make my way up to the surface, but the current is just too strong and it's not long after that everything goes black.

I jolt awake quickly, as I begin to harshly cough up water. My chest is on fire, and I can hardly breathe and right when think I can't handle another moment, I suddenly suck in a sharp breath as the last of the water comes out.
"Shh, you're okay." I hear a soft voice say soothingly, making me suddenly aware of the feeling of large gently hands rubbing my back.
I do my best to take as many deep breaths as possible, steadying my breathing and letting the ache in my chest start to ease before finally deciding to look up.
My eyes quickly widen as I come face to face with a pale skinned, crimson-colored eyes, dark brown haired, young man. That despite the color of his eyes I couldn't help but find him incredibly handsome.
"I'm going to pick you up now, okay? " he asks softly, and I nod my head nervously.
He scoops me into his arms gently and picks me up as I shiver from the cold.
"I want you to close your eyes, okay? It will make you dizzy if you don't." he tells me and I close my eyes and hold on to him tightly, hoping he won't drop me.
"Are you going to hurt me?" I whisper hoarsely.
"Not at all. I'm going to help you. Just try to relax." he replies.
As we begin to move quickly, my eyes quickly shut, and I fall back into a deep slumber as exhaustion takes over my aching body once again

I come to once again in a panic and quickly look around trying to figure out where I am but all I can tell is that I am in a bedroom that I have never been in before. I quickly climb off the big soft bed I am currently on and look down to see I'm wearing a big t-shirt which I can only guess belongs to a man. I then notice that it is very breezy under my shirt and look down into it.
Sure, enough I had no undergarments on. I take a deep breath before making my way to the door and opening it slowly.
"Hello?" I question.
I wait a few seconds before stepping out of the room and begin walking down the hallway. This most definitely wasn't a house I was familiar with, that was for certain.
"Hello?" I question again.
"You're awake!" I hear a deep soft voice say from behind me, making me jump.
I turn around quickly and see the man who looks oddly familiar, and then I remember. He was the man who had saved me.
"Thank you, for helping me." I say softly.
"My pleasure. My name is Ryker Tombs." he tells me, holding his hand out.
"Autumn Rain." I reply, biting my lip as I gently shook his hand.
Electric like shocks warmed my skin as soon as our skins touched and I couldn't help but stare in awe and confusion, though he seemed unaffected.
"Pleasure to meet you, Autumn. Would you like to follow me to the kitchen?" he says continuing to hold my hand.
"Oh, um, alright." I murmur quietly.
He keeps hold of my hand gently, but securely as he leads me down the long hallway and down a huge flight of stairs before taking me into a huge kitchen that was completely spotless. There was no doubting this man was wealthy based on his home. It was truly extraordinary.
He leads me over to one of the chairs and let's go of my hand. I sit down and he pushes the chair in before going to the kitchen and bringing me over a plate with a piece of toast with butter on it and a glass of water.
"Thank you." I reply, politely as he sets it down in front of me.
"My pleasure, sorry it isn't much. I have never had to prepare food for a human before." he replies running a hand through his hair and I can't help but give a small smile.
"Is it okay if I ask you a couple of questions while you eat?" he asks, and I nod my head before reaching down and taking a bite of the toast.
I stood in front of the mirror and smiled as I looked over my beautiful forest green dress one last time. "Beautiful, mommy." my sweet daughter Sabrina's voice murmured from behind me. Turning around I smiled at the little angel who looked just like Rayne. "Not as beautiful as you." I smiled to her. Grabbing her small hand, I led her out of the room and down the stairs where Lucy and Selena were patiently waiting for us with wide smiles. "You look so beautiful, Autumn." Lucy compliments, before pulling me into a quick hug. "Thanks, Luce. Is everyone here?" I ask, and she nods her head happily. "Did the boys make it to their fathers?" I ask, and she laughs. "Shockingly, yes." she replies, and we all laugh. "Come on, Sabrina. Let's go outside and wait with everyone." Selena pipes up before scooping her up into her arms. I watch them leave before slipping on some black ballet flats and turning towards Lucy. "Thank you for doing this with me." I tell her softly, as she takes my
The day was finally here. The twins would be exiting the womb and coming into our lives physically and I was beyond excited and terrified. Today I would be getting a planned C-Section. I was 36 weeks pregnant, and my doctor advised having a planned C-Section as my babies weren't growing much anymore, most likely due to my small size so it was best for them to come out, so they could continue to grow. "How are you feeling, princess?" Rayne asks, laying next to me. We had just woken up and Ryker went to go wake up the rest of the family since everyone had come down again just this time for the birth and were staying with us. "Excited but terrified. I am so excited to see their little faces, but the thought of having my stomach cut open is just terrifying." I reply, anxiety coursing through my veins. "It'll be okay, princess. You won't feel a thing and me and Ryker will be there the whole time." he replies soothingly. "Thank you." I say, and he kisses me softly. The past couple week
A few more weeks has passed since Zephyr came and met the other side of my family and he has made it a habit to come and visit me at least 3 times a week since then. My father's side of the family and Zephyr have gotten along amazingly. Lucy has even taken him in like her own son, since finding out they he has never had any motherly figure in his life since my mother vanished. I'm now 29 weeks and my belly has gotten much larger. I still have 11 weeks to go but I was happy because today was my baby shower and the best part? It was in my new house. It was finally built, and I couldn't wait to see the inside of it. The boys wanted me to wait until today, saying that one of the large baby shower gifts was already there, and they wanted it to be a big surprise. Lucy had already been there, and she said it was a beautiful house and that I was absolutely going to love it and it was big enough to hold all the family that lived away so that ways when we had big family get togethers, like to
It's been a few weeks since being in the fae realm and I was now 22 weeks pregnant. Once we had left the fae realm, we had gone back to Ryker's for a while before traveling back to my father's land where I had an ultrasound and found out I was having twin boys. I was pretty excited and so was Ryker and Rayne for the most part. Ever since everything that had happened with Bella, Rayne had to make the decision of what to do with her. In the end, he chose execution. As much as it killed him to have her killed, it would have hurt him and his family more to watch her suffer and die slowly in a cell for the rest of her life and after her crimes those were her only choices, so he told me. Ever since then, he has been distant. He does his best to be happy, but I can tell he is hurting. To make it worse though, he also has been traveling back to the fae realm a lot and wasn't with us as much which made me sad, but I knew he needed his time and space to cope and grieve and I had respect that.
I wake up and stretch, feeling refreshed and full of life. As I open my eyes, I look around to see a room full of people and furrow my brows, but as my eyes settle on Zephyr, everything quickly comes back to me. "Bella?" I ask, looking over at Rayne. "In a cell with on the clock watch." he replies, and I let out a small breath of relief. "How are you feeling, little fawn?" I hear Ryker say, and look over to see him standing beside the other side of my bed. "Great." I reply, happy to see him. "Autumn, we are so sorry for everything that happened. We still cannot believe Bella was behind this the whole time." Poppy admits sadly. "It's okay, Pop. It was a shock to me too, but I quickly went into save my mate mode. I guess it triggered my inner fae in the process." I reply, with a small smile. "You are very powerful for part fae." Zephyr comments, making me grin. "Must be from our mother." I say softly, and he gives me a sad smile. "I'm sorry for everything that happened. Bella w
Holy shit. It was Bella. What the hell was she doing here? She was supposed to be in her office. Unless maybe she came down here to interrogate one of the prisoners? I watch as she moves some vines away from the wall and I see a pink flower that looks just like the ones on the vine, but yet wasn't attached to it which was strange. As I continue to watch, she grabs the flower and twists it around three times before suddenly the wall beside her covered in vines as well, suddenly pops out. She grabs it and pulls it open, just enough so she can slip inside before it shuts quietly behind her. We stay crouched for a few more minutes before standing back up and making our way to the same vines. Ready? As ready as I will ever be. We repeat the same process and quietly but cautiously go through the door as it shuts behind us. I look down to see concrete stairs going down a flight or two and we make our way down until we reach the bottom. I see a steel door with a small window, and we qui
