Chapter 23 - I'd missed her
Lunaya.
We picked up our bags and headed out into the small clearing in front of the dining hall. The snow had stopped falling through the night, but the ground was covered in knee deep fresh powder and the wind was harsh against my bare cheeks. It was still dark and too early for the other pack members to be awake. Pappi stood holding onto Hina’s arm, as they said their goodbyes to Elaine and the warriors. Zelena.I stabbed my fork into the piece of steak and swirled it around my plate, stirring it through the thick gravy. The dinner table was full of chatter about the upcoming celebration, excitement was buzzing through the air. This is going to be the biggest ascension ceremony that Tri-Moon has ever seen. Lunaya.We turned off the highway and onto a dirt road at the Trout Point Lodge sign. This was the beginning of the Lua Chei pack borders.
