Vikrat Jeremy sighed "His case is a little pathetic. His wife had taken all he's got from him. As I speak with you, he has no place to turn and he went in search of Freddie Grayson to pass the night. His wife and her boyfriend wouldn't let him step foot in his house anymore and the divorce proceedings will be through soon…" he gave a brief summary. Pamela squinted. Looks like the two betrayers are at each other's throats. She likes the turn of events. But she would add a little bonus to Lucas' experience. That would make it perfect for him. Pamela stood up and walked away. She doesn't need to do anything else, but sit back and watch everything unfold. Greg watched as the two men laid on the same bed. This is the point where they found each other. This was caused by the wife each had married. But he had blamed them. Didn't Lucas know the kind of woman Emma was before jilting Pamela for her? If Emma can do something so cruel to her own sister, why wouldn't she do wors
Pamela heard her door open forcefully and raised her head to see who did it, when Louis forced his way into her office and her bodyguards and securities were harassing him. His suit looked a little rumpled. He was foaming in rage and despite getting into Pamela's office, the bodyguards were still trying to throw him out. Three men attacked him on both sides and while struggling to get himself off their grip, his golden wristwatch was shattered and a Sharp pointed edge, Pierce his skin and blood was dripping. Louis Hayden's blood was dripping and like a spell, every one of them paused. The two buttons on his jacket dropped on the floor, giving a dropping sound. Louis removed his suit and dropped it on the sofa and didn't care about his bleeding wrist when he glared at Pamela. The sight before Pamela made her heart beat fast. She had felt satisfied at what she's done so far until that moment when she saw Louis and the sight of his dripping blood made her feel very uncomfort
Clarion was not convenient. Why would Leah not answer her phone? She decided to call Ellis but it's the same story. The couple were not answering their phones. She decided to call Pamela. The latter was feeling very uncomfortable with what she's done to Louis when her grandma called. She knew why her grandmother was calling. Immediately she saw the caller ID was her, her heart beat almost skipped. When she eventually answered the phone, her grandmother instructed her to get in touch with Louis immediately. His company must not be affected by this fall in investors. She should find out who the rival was. This is purely conceived out of envy by a competing corporation. She must see that nothing happens to Hayden's cooperation. Pamela's hands shivered. Her grandmother was ready to support Louis Hayden without knowing she was the reason for the fall. How can she explain to her grandmother what she's done? "I want answers as soon as possible. I will personally see that I
Louis Hayden was dazed when his meeting with Miranda Alvan ended. It made his day. He didn't expect that such an opportunity was going to pave a way for him to a better height. He ended up having the meeting until late in the night. The scientist and the expertise in bringing that project to a reality also joined them. Louis agreed and asked that they draw a contract to that effect. Before venturing into the project as a partner, they needed to have some legal action binding them together. Miranda Alvan agreed and said she would have her lawyers contact Louis Hayden's lawyers and bring up a contract for them both to sign. "But tell me Miranda, how were you able to keep so much secret after your father died?" Louis asked. There was a rumour back then that her father was assassinated by unknown men. Investigation revealed that he had invented a machine and those after him kidnapped and wanted him to cough out the mechanical procedure he used in producing the machine. B
Pamela was startled. She didn't know her grandma was already downstairs. Oh gosh! How could she not have known she was there until she startled her. "Nothing, grandma" Pamela forced a smile. She lied and Clarion knew it. But there's nothing she could say to prove her wrong. Before she could ask any more questions about her involvement in the rising again of the Hayden's group, Pamela stood up abruptly. "I'll be in my room" she declared and without waiting for Clarion's permission, she bowed slightly and went to her room. Clarion squinted. She's known Pamela for a few years already and can depict her mood. She's not in a good mood and she's not willing to share her feelings with her. Clarion shrugged. She might be having some hard challenges to sort out. She's a business consultant and definitely should know what to do and when to involve her and Tarvan. Freya had waited for Freddie to return home. She thought he would return after a few days and hence, she wasn't bot
Clarion wondered why Leah would visit so early without pre-informing her. But Leah wasn't looking good at all. It appeared she hadn't had a good night's rest, considering the dark lines below her eyes. Clarion came closer and asked "what a pleasant surprise, Leah" she declared, smiling. Leah can come to see her and Tarvan anytime, she's like a daughter to them. "Good morning Aunt Clarion. I haven't come to see you but Pamela. Would you please have one of the servants call her" Leah declared, not smiling nor standing up in courtesy. Clarion observed the facial expressions of Leah, it wasn't a pleasant one. She squinted and had the feeling that she didn't come for good, she's like someone who has a tassel to settle. But what does she have to do with Pamela, they had barely met once, which could probably be the reason for her wanting to see Pamela. Anyways, Clarion nodded and beckoned to one of the servants around and ordered her to tell Pamela to come downstairs immed
Pamela didn't take another step. She stood where she was with reddened eyes. If she had known that Leah was downstairs and she was the reason her granny sent for her, she wouldn't have come downstairs. She would have found a random reason not to. Clarion glared at Pamela with hostility and asked authoritatively "Was Leah saying the truth a while ago? You are Louis' ex wife and the royal quadruplets are Louis' kids? Is it also true that you were responsible for the sudden bankruptcy the Hayden's group experienced recently. Are all these claims true?" Clarion's words were being uttered distinctively and gently. She glared at Pamela as if trying to read her mind before she would ever give an answer to her questions. Pamela said nothing. Of course every single question her granny just asked her is true. But they were at the same time, her best kept secret. She looked away, her eyes reddened. She doesn't want to lock eyes with her granny. She sniffled and wouldn't look in
"I'm sorry darling. I can't just keep mute and let Pamela do whatever she likes, simply because she has become a princess overnight. Before she became a princess, when she was the Foster daughter of the Grayson's family, we had known her and took her in. I need to give her a piece of my mind. That's all I did and that's where I am coming from,"Leah explained. She hugged Ellis and seemed to sigh softly, placing her head on his torso. She's glad she has Ellis. He's her life and he's everything she ever desires. Until her seventh life, she would always choose Ellis as her husband and best friend. "You need to take some time off this stress. I am taking you for a vacation. Don't ask me where but get prepared, the day after tomorrow, we will be away from Oak City for a while", Ellis declared, planting a featherlight kiss on her temple. "What about our grandkids? We should get to meet them before leaving"Leah suggested. Those kids are more important to her than anything e
