When I saw them flock over her, I had to go to other visitors who are now saying goodbye after the dinner and small talks, to ease the sudden awkwardness. Do I need to congratulate her? No, it would be un appropriate, what would be my other employee's reaction? 

When I saw Jerome was approaching in our table with a bouquet I know he was here to see her. Why I am not comfortable with this feeling?

When I saw how she dress up for this evening. I knew that this will be a long evening. 

When I saw my son uneasy in his sit, I knew that he cannot wait to see her... too. 

But when I saw he was escorted by a handsome young man, I knew that I must have to be aware of my expression.
