"Yeah. I got it", I say through the damaged connection. He says something from the other side but I can't hear him properly. "I can't hear you, Kane. Please take care of yourself wherever you are. Try to be safe"

The call ended before I could complete it. I'm confused, worried and freaked out at the same time. However, I try to calm down and recall everything I heard Kane saying. If he was out despite the worst weather hitting the city, it means he was after something huge and serious. And I have to check it out.

I rush to Kane's cabin right away and find the yellow file. A bit concerned and worried, I open it. The first thing I see on the first page is a picture of a man. I frown at the picture, wondering why his face looks so familiar. But I'm sure I have never seen him. It's just that his face is too similar to someone I may know. My brain can't really process it.
