Chapter 25 : Blooming hatred

"Ivanna!" Ellen jerks me, bringing me back to my senses. "You overmixed the solution"

I immediately look down, stunned.

"Damn!" I immediately settle the solutions aside before they can release smoke.

"Are you okay?" Ellen asks, holding my shoulder. "You looked so happy in the morning. What happened suddenly?"

I don't reply to her. I have nothing to reply to. From the moment I got to know Christian is with Mrs Fox, I started to have some weird feelings. It's his work hour. And she is definitely not into the business.

Why would they be together? I heard Mrs Fox shouting abruptly, and Christian was checking on her. I heard no voice from Mr Fox. In fact, I couldn't hear anyone else except them. Did that mean they were alone and together? Why didn't he tell me he was with her?

It's too hard to swallow.

"I'm fine", I mutter. "Just a bit sick. I want w break I guess"

"Sure. I'll handle everything. Go and take some rest", Ellen tells me.

I walk out of the lab and look into the phone
