I looked around for the millionth time to see whether I wasn’t spotted, or to say the least, followed. I spotted the said restaurant from across the street and quickly made my run for it. Before walking through the door, I fixed my hoodie and made sure it was well in place, and then pulled the cap towards my eyebrows, then proceeded to open the door and walked further into the restaurant before slipping into the booth that was at the far end and then sloshed further into the seat; trying to hide my body.“You took your time.” The lady sitting across called out sipping on her wine glass ever so relaxed with no care in this world.
