54 - Veronica, the surprise crusher

Having realized that the couple was asleep, Veronica finally got onto her feet. It was past midnight and the lights were off. She couldn't turn on the light to cause either of the couple to wake up and decided on going through the dark.

She gently opened the washroom door sauntering slowly, but unfortunately, her leg hit the couch. She gasped in pain, the bedside lamp intermittently lit up, with Sly sitting on the bed, staring daggers at her. The room wasn't brightly lit by the bedside lamp but Sly could see Veronica's form.

He stood up and ambled towards her, not wanting to disturb Monica's sleep. "We need to talk," Sly whispered, secured his palm around Veronica's arm, and walked her out of the door, through the corridor to her bedroom. Releasing his grip on her, he went to her washroom and turned on the faucet. Coldwater and hot water were all pouring out in huge force.
