"Then sign the divorce papers."

Monica was in a daze. She never thought that Sly meant it when he sent the divorce papers to her the first time. Even though she still had them with her, she never expected him to ask again. She almost gave up but felt that perhaps, it was because Sly was still hurt.  She felt something warm on her face before realizing they were tears she fought to hold. Sly wasn't moved by her tears. His eyes remained piercing when Monica's eyelids flung open.

"Why Sly?"

"Didn't you say that you would do anything? That is my condition. Sign the papers I sent to you," the iciness in his tone remained. 

Monica took a step back, found her voice and muttered, "NO."

"What?" Sly frowned. 

"I said No. I will never divorce you Sly, I will never leave you."
