DIANA.

When we arrived at the car park, their cars were already surrounded by spectators who were gushing over the fancy vehicles. The police managed to move everyone away before they could place Grandma in the car, and the rest of us quickly got into our vehicles as well.

“Diana, what are you doing there? Get in,” Grandma called out, surprising me.

“Diana, get in.” I got into the car, still in disbelief that we were riding with Leo.

A few minutes later, we arrived at the presidential house, and I have to say, it was huge and gorgeous. My jaw dropped as I looked around. We drove into the compound, which was adorned with various flowers and trees, and all exited the vehicle once it was securely parked. Ma’am Nicole's expression was far from friendly, and I couldn't understand why she seemed angry at the sight of me; it’s not like I was planning to stay forever. After helping Grandma to her room to rest, three doctors and seven nurses walked in with machines, and I couldn’t help but stare in awe. Rich people and their fancy lifestyle! They performed some routine checks on her and reiterated what the hospital doctor had said. They emphasized that she shouldn't be stressed, as the incident had weakened her heart. Two nurses stayed behind to care for Grandma, which I took as my cue to leave; I was sure my boss was going to fire me.

“Grandma, I’m leaving now. Please take care of yourself and don’t forget to take your medication.”

“Where are you going? You’re not going anywhere, Diana. This will be your home, and I won’t let you go. You just need to tell your parents that Mrs. Smith said you’re not coming home again or give me their phone number, and I’ll talk to them.” She stretched out her hand, and tears fell from my eyes when she mentioned my “parents.” I was sensitive to that word.

“Grandma, what’s wrong? Did I say something that offended you? I apologize if I did; please stop crying,” she said softly as Leo entered the room.

“What’s going on?” Leo asked, holding Grandma’s hand.

“Grandma, you didn’t say anything wrong. I’m sorry if I made you sad; it’s just that I always feel sad when my parents are mentioned because I don't have any,” I said, wiping my tears.

“What happened to them?” she asked.

“I don’t know. I’ve never known them. I’ve been in an orphanage and various foster homes since I was a baby, and I don’t even know if they are alive or not,” I replied.

“Oh, my dear,” she said, making me sit down and hugging me. I embraced her back because I needed it.

“Don’t worry; from now on, you are not alone. You have a family now. I am your family, so you can stay here,” Grandma said, and I sniffled while wiping my face.

“But what about Ma’am Nicole and the rest? I don’t know if they will accept me, and I don’t want to cause any problems here.”

“Don’t worry about Nicole; she wouldn’t mind, right, Nardy?” she asked, looking at Leo, who wore a scowl on his face before reluctantly nodding.

**TWO WEEKS LATER**

Everything has been going relatively well; I wouldn’t say “smoothly” because Ma’am Nicole has been making my life difficult, constantly throwing insults and hateful glares whenever she sees me. Liam is a workaholic, working without rest for 24 hours a day, while Leo has been jumping from one concert to another.

“Miss Diana,” a maid called, causing me to stop.

“Yes,” I replied.

“Grandma called for you.”

“Okay, let’s go.” I followed her to the huge garden, and even though I had been there five times, I still marveled at the beauty.

“Granny,” I called excitedly as she looked up from what she was doing and smiled, beckoning me over. I sat on the bench next to her, enjoying the breeze on my skin.

“How are you feeling, Granny?” I asked.

“I’m fine, but I’m still feeling some pain in my back.”

“You’re supposed to be resting in bed, Granny, not doing whatever you’re doing,” I said with a frown.

“I’m not paralyzed, Diana, but I heard you. I called you to ask what you would like to study if you are allowed to attend university,” she said.

“I’ve always dreamed of becoming a fashion designer and a model, so if I’m given the opportunity, I would like to go to a fashion school,” I replied with a dreamy smile.

“Okay, I’ll ask Leo to find the best fashion school for you and also some training to become a model,” Grandma said. I gasped as tears streamed down my face.

“Thank you, Granny! You are my lifesaver.”

“Please stop crying. You are like my granddaughter now, so it’s no big deal.” I hugged her tightly, still crying.

LEONARD.

I woke up to find a hand tightly holding my waist. I scoffed and gently removed it before standing up. I got dressed, put on my mask, and left the room. I entered my car and drove to my penthouse. Once inside, I went straight to the bathroom for a nice shower. After I dressed, my phone rang; it was Grandma. I quickly answered.

“Good morning, Grandma,” I said with a smile.

“Morning, Nardy. How are you?”

“I’m fine.” I took my Rolex from the wardrobe and put it on.

"Can you come home now?"

"I'm sorry, Grandma. I have a movie shoot this morning, but I’ll drop by when I’m done," I replied.

"Alright, bye. Love you."

"Love you too, Grandma," I said, intending to end the call. But what she said next made me pause. "Oh, Diana also said hi," she added before hanging up, leaving me with no chance to respond. Diana… I won’t lie; she is a beautiful girl with wide hips, moderate breasts, and that ass that shakes every time she walks. Why am I even thinking about Diana? My other phone rang, and I picked it up to see my manager was calling.

"Leo, where the hell are you?" Frank yelled.

"I'm coming," I said before hanging up. I brushed my hair and stared at myself in the mirror for a few minutes before heading out. I got into my Maserati and drove to the shooting location. Today’s shoot is about the male lead falling in love with the female lead, and guess what? I really struggle with these sickly sweet parts, but because of the bed scenes, I think I might be able to cope, I smirked to myself.

MRS. SMITH (Grandma)

These past few weeks, I have been observing Diana, and she doesn’t seem like one of those pompous, money-hungry girls. She is very kind, respectful, and patient. I would really like her for my favorite grandson, Leonard. She would make a wonderful wife. Now, I just need to come up with a plan to bring the two of them together. But what should I do? Should I just tell them to get married? No, that wouldn't work; knowing Leonard, he would reject the offer immediately.

So, what am I going to do?

Suddenly, an idea struck me, and my eyes lit up. Yes, I know what to do!

**DIANA** The cars parked in the underground parking lot, and we all got out. We took the private elevator to avoid the press due to my anxiousness. I was sweating profusely and wasn’t sure if I could pull this off without a flaw. "Come on, girl, you can do this," I repeated in my head like a mantra, reassuring myself and building my confidence. Jeanne held my hand and gave me a warm smile, allowing me to breathe out and calm myself down. "Thanks, Jean," I said, appreciating her effort to soothe me. "You’re welcome." As we entered the main hall, I saw exactly what I had expected—and yet nothing like it. Reporters from various news stations and fashion magazines lurked around, eager for any news. Famous fashion designers like Tom, Alexander, and Coco sat in the front row, scanning the room, waiting for the show to begin. "They are waiting for you, Diana," my subconscious squealed, making me feel giddy inside. I took three deep breaths before approaching them while repeating my m

Author’s POV. Three months later. The shrill sound of wails woke up the two couples who were sleeping peacefully. They groaned and cursed as they got up, but the man held the woman’s hand. “Don’t worry, babe, I’ll take care of them. You just rest.” He said and pecked her cheeks before leaving the room. The woman muttered a little ‘thanks’ and went back to sleep almost immediately. Leonard walked to the adjacent room and saw his two princesses wailing like the earth was on attack, he walked to the end and picked their feeder, before going to the crib and once they saw someone's shadow they stopped crying, staring at their father with tears on their faces. “Hey pretties, I guess you’re hungry huh.” He asked and carried one from the crib, he placed her gently in his arms, placing the feeder in her mouth and the baby latched on to it quickly and that made Leonard chuckle, “You’re that hungry, huh?” He smiled and stared at his pretty angel whilst he played with the other. Life has been going great for me, although I’ve faced some challenges with my mental health issues. Thankfully, it’s all okay now, all thanks to my psychologist, Dr. Renee. She has helped me get back to my daily life; I no longer flinch or get startled when someone touches me. I’ve come to accept the fact that I’m a princess now, and sometimes, it still feels unbelievable that I come from a royal family. Even Harmony was surprised and happy for me. Thinking back to how I reacted when Leonard broke the news makes me laugh. I was such a jerk—sorry, I meant to say that princesses don’t curse. Oops! I argued with Leonard that he was lying, insisting my family was dead and would never come back. But after much persuasion, along with the story and evidence he provided, I hugged my dad for the first time. “Thinking again?”

Reporters were also present, eager to capture any scoop they could. “We are live at St. Paul’s Cathedral for the royal wedding and coronation of our beloved princess, Diana, and her groom, Leonard Smith. Rumor has it that they were already married before in an arranged marriage, and now they want to renew their vows and hold a proper wedding. Oh! Here comes the bride.” They immediately turned their attention and cameras to the approaching vehicles. The cars stopped in front, and all the bridesmaids—three in total—descended from the Bentley, each

LEONARD’S POV CONT. “Have it your way then.” He pulled the trigger and everything happened so fast that the next thing I knew was seeing Derrick on the floor with blood coming out of his stomach and mouth and the man being apprehended. “DERRICK!.” I yelled running to him, I squatted on the floor and held his hand. “You will be fine,” I said and turned to the soldiers. “Lift him, gently.” The two soldiers held Derrick gently as we walked to the helicopter. “Hurry up.” I yelled at the soldiers as they carried Derrick into the helicopter and as soon as Dad saw us he gasped. “What happened?” He asked worriedly, I shook my head before walking in still carrying Diana who had fainted. “Let’s go.” The captain yelled closing the door and the pilot nodded, I turned to see King Charles holding Derrick’s hands whispering words to him. *he’s going to be fine* I thought as the helicopter took off. FAST FORWARD I was pacing up and down in the hospital hallway impatiently,

UNKNOWN POV I sat on my chair with my hands on my hair, how could I let this happen? Shit! I hit the table angrily and breathed out. The sound of a phone ringing blared in the room, he’s calling. I picked the phone up from the table before answering. “Boss,” I called in a fearful tone. “I want to assume you have taken care of it ya.” his cold voice asked from the other side of the line and I gulped down nothing. “I... I’ve gotten it but there is a slight problem.”I stuttered holding my hair tightly, the line was silent for a while before he spoke up. “What problem?” he asked. “There..... is...... no.......... some..one.”I stuttered, I couldn’t form a single word correctly. “Shut the fuck up Michael, you better get the fucking job done before the end of today or else, ya know what’s gonna happen to ya son huh?” he said calmly. I know he was snickering at the other side and I gulped nothing down again. “Yes boss.” he hung up and I threw the phone on the floor and w
