Chapter Twenty Four

Crystal shakily sat on the bed rubbing the place Rafael had held, he had been so angry with her, of cause anyone would be, she had yet again jeopardized his contract, she has to do something but what? She thought for a while, she'll start by trying to convince him that she's not Miller's pawn, it is obvious that he doesn't trust her. She paced the room as she thought of what to do, she's beginning to realize her father's game, he would distract her from her goal by always creating problems between her and Rafael, she has to speak with him to somehow convince him that she doesn't have anything going with Mark, she wondered vaguely why having his trust is suddenly important to her, she ran downstairs and almost ran into Emilia.

" By heavens, what's chasing you?" Emilia asked her

" Rafael, where is he?"

" Sir has gone out, what's the matter?"

"Do you know where he went to?"

" I dunno must be to his office I guess"
