“Li Tingxiao, I was wrong… I was really wrong.”

About five minutes later, the two of them finally began to calm down.

“Get up and brush your teeth. I’ll send you there,” Su Jianxi said before letting go of Su Jianxi.

Forty minutes later, Li Tingxiao sent Su Jianxi to the entrance of Heroic Entertainment Group’s building.

Sis Kimi had been waiting for her for a long time now, and she rushed up to Su Jianxi the moment she saw the latter’s back.

“Jianxi, tell me clearly! Who on earth is this man?

“If you don’t tell me today, I’ll die before your very eyes!”

Sis Kimi’s gaze had been trained on Li Tingxiao the entire time. When she saw that he had driven Su Jianxi over here on a bike, she lost her cool even more.

“Sis Kimi, let’s get that contract signed. The story between him and me isn’t something I can explain in a word or two.”

Su Jianxi gave Li Tingxiao a look before dragging Sis Kimi into the company building.

Sis Kimi knew what the priority here was, of course, but she still said stubbornly, “Jianxi, if you did anything to go against your initial principles, I won’t be your manager anymore. You can hire anyone you like.”

Sis Kimi was one of the rare few managers in showbiz who never allowed her charges to obey the hidden rules of the industry. That was why she did not have any superstars under her care despite her own impeccable abilities.

“I know. Don’t worry, Sis Kimi, he’s not my casting couch. He’s my husband.”

“What? Your husband? Su Jianxi, what else are you hiding from me?” Sis Kimi’s expression blatantly said that she would kill Su Jianxi unless she spilled everything, so Su Jianxi hurriedly shut her mouth and headed into Heroic Emperor’s conference room.

She seemed to have seen the man who sent Su Jianxi over here earlier somewhere before.

Sis Kimi tried her hardest to recall it, but just then, a shrill and disbelieving woman’s voice said, “Su Jianxi, why are you here?”
