Su Jianxi and Sis Kimi both turned their eyes toward Su Huanran, who was wearing ten-centimeter heels. Su Huanran looked extremely surprised and even more jealous.

“Jianxi is here at Heroic Emperor to sign a contract, of course. Did you think everyone came here to beg for mercy like you did?”

Sis Kimi was very antagonistic to Su Huanran. Not only had this b*tch stolen Jianxi’s resources, she even wormed her way into Shen Siming’s bed. Could she be any more shameless?

Yesterday, she had been fired from the girl power movie, and it just so happened that the director for that film was from Heroic Emperor. It was pretty obvious why Su Huanran was here first thing in the morning, then.

Su Huanran’s face flushed, paled, and flushed again. Sis Kimi was ticking her right off, but she could not deny it.

“No matter what, Huanran is still a star in her own right, and she has her fanbase. You came here so early in the morning just to beg Heroic Emperor for a contract, right? Who do you think you are? You’re just an outdated celeb past your expiry date. Why don’t you count your wrinkles in the mirror?”

Gao Wen stood in front of Su Huanran and taunted Su Jianxi.

“Heroic Emperor was the one who initiated the contract with our Jianxi. Have a look.” Sis Kimi held up the sheet of paper in her hand arrogantly, and both Gao Wen and Su Huanran looked far from pleased.

“Let’s go, Sis Kimi.”

Su Jianxi gave Gao Wen and Su Huanran a haughty glance. She had no idea why Shen Siming would like this woman who was inferior to her in every way.

Perhaps it really was like the saying went. They said that cheating men were like dogs. Even if you fed it imported food every day, it had never eaten crap before, so it would always want a taste.

“Jianxi, I was wrong to ask you to take the blame for me yesterday, so I apologize. Could you please just not fight me for this role? Do you know how much I sacrificed for this role? And how much Heaven’s Entertainment gave for this role? Even if you hate me, you can’t hurt Siming.”

Su Huanran’s eyes filled with tears, and it looked like she was even about to get down on her knees to apologize to Su Jianxi.

“If you’re begging me, act like it.” Su Jianxi coldly swatted Su Huanran’s hand off her clothes. “Remember, if it belongs to you, no one can take it away. Rather than begging me to pity you, why don’t you spend more time working on your acting skills?”

Su Jianxi gave Su Huanran a sideways look of utter contempt before leaving.

Gao Ming helped to steady Su Huanran, who was so angry that she was starting to sway on her feet. “What should we do now? Su Jianxi signed a contract with Heroic Emperor, and the director is with Heroic Emperor too. Huanran, should we still go look for the director?”

“Let’s go back to Heaven’s Entertainment. I wanna look for Siming.”

With that, Su Huanran turned back the way she came too.

After Sis Kimi and Su Jianxi left, Sis Kimi could not help but applaud Su Jianxi’s earlier performance. She would pop the confetti if she could. “Jianxi, I feel like I’ve never known the real you. I always thought you were just the sweet helpless type, but now I know you’re actually dark and domineering. What should we do next, then?”

“We’ll take everything Su Huanran has.” Su Jianxi’s gaze fell on the man who was leaning on the bike in the distance, and she told Sis Kimi, “I gotta go now, Sis Kimi. My husband’s waiting for me, so if there’s anything else, we can discuss it over the phone.”

As soon as Su Jianxi said that, she hurriedly ran over to Li Tingxiao.

“Hey, you haven’t told me how you got married yet. You…” Sis Kimi called out behind Su Jianxi, but Su Jianxi did not hear her at all, so she had to get into her car helplessly.

Of course, Sis Kimi gave Li Tingxiao a few more glances before she entered her car. The more she looked at this man, the more familiar he looked. She had definitely seen him somewhere before!

Su Jianxi walked to Li Tingxiao’s side and was about to call his name when the man raised his head instead.

“Are you all done?”

“Yup.”

“Then let’s go. I’ll take you somewhere?”

“Where?” Su Jianxi asked.

“Just get in, and you’ll know when we get there.”

Su Jianxi had no choice but to get inside the car, and the two of them left Heroic Emperor Group.
