After her facial session, Alana visited Robert in the hospital.

“You are here at the right time, Alana. I have something to tell you,” Robert said as soon as Alana stepped in.

“I am all ears.” Alana sat down and handed him a glass of water in her hands. “Have some water first.”

Robert took a sip and sighed. “As you already know, Jean’s situation…”

A crack appeared in the gentle expression of Alana. She had guessed what Robert was about to say next.

She immediately adjusted her mindset and put up a concerned face.

“Yeah, I know. That child has gone through a lot of hardships out there. I don’t think those things circulating on the Internet are true. I trust Jean. She might have been away from home for several years, but a stubborn child like her would not do such things.”
