You're My First. Lyla Atelo. I came to a conclusion after drafting my priorities. First of all, my future with my husband was quite bleak and the only thing that I held on to now was my teaching job. I wouldn't want to lose it for any reason. Secondly, yesterday's sermon in church touched me, and I felt the deep sense of need to clear the air between Sage and I. I had to reign in my darkest desires for him because no matter what... it felt wrong. Exciting, but really wrong. "Mr. Dominic?" I called his name after my first class had ended. His piercing eyes shot up to my face. I gulped and steadied my breath to continue. "I would like to see you in my office during lunch." His expression had turned cold. He didn't give me a second glance after I said that, and I suddenly felt like it was stupid to have a meeting with him. But it didn't matter now, I had already said it out. It was up to him to decide if he would come or not. But still... I don't know why I felt anxious about that. * Lunch came and there was still no sign of Sage. A resigned sigh escaped my lips. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and I sat up in... excitement? No, that was the wrong feeling. I shouldn't be feeling that way at all. "Erm... Come in." I cleared my throat and said out loud. My hopes were crushed instantly when a familiar blonde and brunette hair entered my office. It was Sara and one of my colleagues, Ivy. "Hey." I flashed them a fake smile, trying so hard to mask my disappointment. Sara was looking around as if trying to find someone, and when she saw nothing, her eyes settled on me. "I thought you were having a guest." Sara sighed, also disappointed. My eyebrows quirked in surprise. If I guessed right, she must have heard that I wanted to meet with Sage, and she came here in the hopes of being in the same space as him. "As you can see, there's no one here." I gestured towards my spacious office. My office was quite bigger than all of my colleagues, and I could fathom a guess that this was also Sage's doing. I had to speak to him so he could stop with the favours. As if on cue, my door was rudely opened and Sage barged in. He had a dark look on his face when he saw my new companions. "Get out. All of you!" His voice was cold, and he didn't even spare them a glance as he made his way towards me, settling on the chair in front of my desk... in front of me. "Speak!" I could tell he was in a foul mood, and I wondered what happened. "Is everything okay? You seem a little bit—" "Don't waste my time on pointless discussions, Lyla. Get straight to the point." The tone he used sent a tiny but sharp pain into my heart. I rubbed my palms together nervously. "Okay. I want us to bring an end to whatever is going on between us." There. I said it. I waited for his reaction, but I got nothing. When I raised my gaze to look at him, he was leaning against the chair with a hand supporting his chin. His eyes hadn't softened a little bit. "...and what exactly is going on between us?" He asked. "Everything... With you claiming me as your property, hurting my husband, granting me a lot of favours in this school." I rambled on. I knew my insides were already a mess of emotions, but I had to get everything off my chest now. "That night at the club... we can just put everything about it behind us. I wasn't in the right state of mind. I was drunk. I misunderstood my husband's reactions. And yes, my husband might still be a dick to me sometimes, but he is still a good man who loves me and will take good care of me. I just want to live a normal life as a normal teacher without having sexual relationships with my students." The office was silent for a really long time before Sage adjusted in his seat and spoke. "You were not drunk two nights ago when you were pressed behind me, Lyla. You could have stopped, but you didn't." He pointed out immediately. "What do you have to say about that?" "I... That was... It wasn't..." I was sputtering, looking for the right words to say, but failing woefully. Sage's face eased into a lazy smirk. "You want me the same way I want you, Lyla." He whispered and leaned forward. "Resist all you want, but the day I fully claim you, I'll give you the world. I'll give you what your husband can't give you." I was tempted to ask, and I did just that. "My husband gives me everything, Sage. There's nothing you can give me. Forget all about wealth and status." "That may be true... But your husband can't give you one basic thing..." His eyes twinkled and his lips curled upwards. "An orgasm." I froze. I avoided his eyes completely. "I will give you lots and lots of orgasms, Lyla. I will make you live out those dirty fantasies in your mind that you mask with an innocent face." He leaned forward and stood up, rounding the table slowly towards me. It was hypnotic, but a part of me didn't want it to stop. "I will bend you over everything and everywhere until my name is the only thing you can think of." I pressed my legs together unconsciously as I felt my core clench. What was he doing? Why was he doing this to me? Why was I reacting this way even after I had made up my mind to end things? He sat on my desk, directly in front of me. The leg that was dangling in the air slowly found itself between my thighs, spreading them. "Look at you..." He mused. "I haven't even touched you, but you're all red and panting for more. Panting to be touched. It's sexy." His eyes darkened as he leaned forward to touch my hair before sliding his fingers down to my lips. "I want to do all that and more to you, sweetheart. But first of all, I want you to beg for me. Beg for my fingers to pump all your juices out of you..." My breathing was ragged now. My chest was moving up and down. My mind was muddled. Everything I could feel was just everywhere he touched. I wanted more. I needed... "I won't let you go for any reason, Lyla, because there is something you don't know." He paused and withdrew his hands from my face. "You're my first, Lyla. And I intend to make you my last."Chapter 50The Twist.Lyla Atelo.“I'm not…”“…wealthy enough to purchase this? Of course I know that. Sage gifted this to you, right?” Her eyes were beaming in joy. She didn't look disgusted at all about anything.“What other things did he get for you?” She peered into the box that sat in front of us, trying to rummage through it.“You know I can't accept this, right?” Right now, I needed her support for me to turn down these gifts. It was too much. I couldn't handle something this big.“Why not?” Ivy paused and lifted her head to stare at me with a frown.“It's not right, and you know that.” I tried to stress out, but Ivy didn't seem to be following. “He is… you know, he's my student. I'm his teacher. This kind of thing isn't supposed to be going on between us.”Ivy's eyebrows rose further up and she rolled her eyes. “Take it as a simple gift from a student.”“Simple? You call this simple?” I pointed to the document that still lay on the table. “It's a freaking Jewellery store. Not
Chapter 49A Brand New Owner.Lyla Atelo.Sage wasn't in school for the rest of the week, and today was Friday. I had texted him over and over again, but he never responded. I was tempted to go over to his house, but I didn't want a repeat of the last time.I was currently sitting in my office when the door was forcefully pushed open, and my least favourite person walked into the office.“Hello, Sara.” I folded my hands on my table and sat up to face her squarely. She gave me a once-over before taking in my office as if she had never been here before.“Will Sage be coming for Camp?” She asked outrightly.“Excuse me?”“You heard me right. Or are you dumb?”I choose to ignore her choice of words. “I heard you loud and clear, but what I don't understand is why you're asking me.”“Aren't you the one he's fucking?” She said calmly, not at all fazed by the vulgarity of what she was saying.“If you were remanded in court and asked to prove those allegations, would you be able to?”“Don't you
Chapter 48Naughty Little Slut.Lyla Atelo.I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed and optimistic for some unknown reason. I turned to my side, watching Michael sleep peacefully beside me. I rolled my eyes and began to prepare for school.“You're quite late today. That's so unlike you.” Dominic, one of my male colleagues, pointed out as we walked side by side down the corridor.I shrugged. “I slept late, and I woke up late.”His mouth curved into a small smile, “Your husband kept you up all night, aye?” He teased slightly, and it took all of me not wince at his words.I forced a smile on my face with a little ‘heh heh’ to avoid the question. “So, are you prepared for the camping experience?”He understood my discomfort and immediately changed the subject. “I wasn't picked. There are only two male teachers coming while the rest are females. Aren't you aware of this?” He squinted as if trying to remember something. “Seeing that you're the coordinator of the camp?”“Coordinator?” I
Chapter 47Coming To Camp?Lyla Atelo.I came home with a stupid smile on my face. Sage had made my entire evening and I was just smiling like a fool.“You're back," my husband appeared from the corner of the doorway leading to the kitchen. He wore an apron which suggested that he was cooking.I frowned slightly at the sight of that, while waiting for him to complain that I had come home late.“I'm back, yes.” I smiled a little at him.“And in high spirits as well.” He noted that part, “I hope you had a great day at work.”“I did. How about you?” I shrugged off my shoulder bag which was beginning to get heavy and set it on the table, taking in a deep breath of what he was cooking.“I made dinner. Would you like some?” He noted the actions of my nose before asking, but I shook my head immediately.I knew my husband by now. I could guess what he wanted from me, but I waited for him to say it. Michael never did any nice things for me unless he wanted something in return, and this wasn't
Chapter 46Take Me Home.Lyla Atelo.Sage did not say anything until the car came to a stop in a luxurious shopping mall where he went back to driving mode, parking the car at the exclusive parking lot. He stepped out to open the car for me, taking my arm in his."What are you doing? Where are we going? Why are we here?" I asked him even if I could guess what exactly it was that we were doing here."Shopping." He shrugged. "I saw on the internet that you should take a woman shopping when she is angry. It— ""But I'm not angry. Why would I be?"He gave me a quick look before shutting the car. "Yeah, right, you aren't. But I'm here to apologise anyway."Amidst my protests, Sage had his arms hooked around mine until we reached one of the most expensive jewellery stores in the city."Pick anything you'd like. Diamonds. Gold. Silver. Precious stones. Anything." He said as he signalled one of the sales assistants to come over. The girl gave me a once-over, and she did not hide her displeasu
Chapter 45In The Car.Lyla Atelo."Get In the car, Lyla." Sage's voice came in a little stronger this time as he looked over my shoulders. "Unless you want your colleagues to keep speculating that something is going on between us."Our eyes met when he said that, and I paused to think. Did he also have in mind the same question I had? I wanted to ask if there was actually something going on between us, but I didn't dare voice my question out. I didn't want to sound desperate, but still... something that Michelle said earlier egged me at the back of my mind."What do you think about Ivy?" I averted my gaze from his face and looked down to the tarred road. I looked everywhere else but at him. "Is it true you're into older women, and I'm just one of your conquest?"I suddenly felt the cold night wind hit my skin, and I looked up in alarm to see Sage backing away from him. He stared at me with an emotion I couldn't decipher before spinning his car key between his thumb and index finger.
