I watched helplessly as they beat Klaus until he lost consciousness. We were outnumbered, and they were armed. I can make it out here alive, but they’ve captured Klaus.

“You’ll be coming peacefully with us, I assume,” Leandro murmured, standing on my right.

They had my wrist bound with a zip tie on my back. Waking up to their ugly faces after the beautiful moment I had with Klaus was not how I pictured our night to end.
