Klaus Part 2

We built this place out of boredom one spring break during college freshman year. The three of us got together pretty quickly not knowing that we were running away from the darkness shadowing our childhoods. Devin spends his spare time in this country because it reminds him of his late mom. Evan was escaping the troubles at home, emanating from his adoptive brother’s hatred for him while I wanted to be a regular college boy, away from the burdens of being a mafia heir.

Look at us now. I’d say we are still those trouble makers, still wickedly good-looking, but we’ve come a long way. The happiness our wives brought to our lives overshadowed the burdens of our past.

“Damn, you two have googly eyes,” Evan hushed, setting his phone down with a knowing smirk.

“The fuck did you just do?” I groaned.

“Checking for leverage,” he said, tipping his beer bottle. “Say a word about what you heard, and that video of you dancing with Rylee will go live online.”

I shook my head and grabbed a beer from the fridge, handing one to Devin. “That would’ve made dinner more exciting,” I murmured, sipping my beer. “But seriously, you didn’t know the difference between Rapunzel and Cinderella or you were just playing dumb so my cousin would fall for you?”

Evan grunted. “Fuck off.”

Devin and I sniggered at his expense. As our laughter died down, silence hung in the air. Devin pressed his hand on the breakfast bar, his head hung low. Evan sighed, leaning against the counter behind us while I leaned on the fridge, observing them. If I would be given another chance at life, I would still choose them to be my mates, my brothers.

“I never thought we’d be back here together,” Evan said, breaking the silence with a somber voice.

“You kept the place intact…” Devin glanced around.

Back then, this was only an empty space with a couch so we could sit while playing some video game without a care in the world. I still remember it smelled of pot, alcohol, and cigarette, and every corner is littered with the remnants of our sleepless nights.

We were happy that way. Girls, booze, and spending money on worldly things. I never knew there was a different kind of happiness.

“I bet we’d be back here when we don’t have teeth and hair anymore,” I added. Their faces twitched in disgust, and I cackled heartily.

“All the time, Klaus,” scolded Devin.

“What?” I shrugged. “No one will love the two of you the way I do.”

They groaned in unison.

“That’s disgusting,” said Evan. “I’d choose Cali over you in a heartbeat.” His phone vibrated and his eyes almost bulged out from his skull. “In fact… I’d go and find her… right now.” He dashed out of the cabin.

Devin and I looked at each other. He opened his mouth to speak, but his phone pinged. Almost mirroring Evan’s expression, he left his beer and bid goodbye, leaving me dumbfounded.

I shrugged and finished my beer languidly, enjoying the silence and the memories I have in this place. But my trip down memory lane was cut short when Rylee entered the cabin. Sporting a yellow bikini with a white cover-up, she pulled down her sunglasses and scanned the cabin, her eyes settling on me.

Our eyes locked. Her knowing smirk widened.

“What did you do?” I asked as she neared me. Up close, her fuck me eyes made my blood run south. She had been very enthusiastic in the bedroom since we learned of her pregnancy and I was not one to complain.

She wound her hands around my waist, batting her eyelashes. “I might have convinced Cali and Ren to go on dates with their husbands.”

A groan left me the moment Rylee’s lips scaled the length of my throat. I held her hips, gripping her body with gentleness, reminding myself not to fuck her like there’s no tomorrow. “What about the kids?”

“Mr. Reed and Markus just arrived.” On her tiptoes, she shoved her fingers through my hair, tugging my head back. “Are you done asking questions?”

“No,” I said coyly, pushing her backward, lifting her to the counter. I skimmed her toned legs, pushing them apart. She moaned as my hands halted one inch from her bikini.

“Klaus,” she arched her back, pushing her chest forward. My mouth watered at the silhouette of her pebbled nipples.

“I wanna know how wet you are, mia rosa.” My mouth ghosted her lips. Her breathing got heavier, hazel eyes darkened like chocolates.

“Touch me and find out.” She hooked her legs around my waist, pulling our bodies close.

I did as she suggested, pushing her bikini bottoms aside, groaning at how wet she was. “Is this okay?” I asked, making sure she was comfortable with what I’m doing.

“Yes…” she moaned, laying her back on the counter, spreading her legs so I could taste her. “More, please…”

She was frantic and heated. Who was I not to give her more?
