CHAPTER 11
So the things I have done up till now is to do a makeover. And yes i like it, alot.
Now Dalon is making me do shopping. One thing i hate about malls is shopping. Whenever my mom feels like doing shopping, she would sometimes drag me into it. She would always tell me she would only buy one thing but ends up buying the whole shop in the end. And guess who has to carry all the freaking shopping bags, me. That’s right poor old Summer carries all the heavy bags. Sometimes i feel sorry for myself, but everything just goes away after my mom buys me ice-cream. What? its worth it.

“I’ll go and get it.” I tell Ginger. She nods and continues to play the game.As far as I know, mom and dad won’t come home this early. Today is Saturday, the day of the party. Flo invited me to come and honestly it’s my first time going to a party without my parents. Apparently Dalon is also coming with me because he is also invited, and he is afraid that I might do something stupid considering how clumsy I am. I combed my hair and left my hair fall to my shoulders. Since i didn’t know how to put make up on properly i just went with one of mom’s lip glosses. I finally started walking on heels properly and i knew how to stop and keep my balance thankfully. I leave the house making sure i locked the front door and wait for Dalon since he was my ride there and home.Once he came out saying bye to his mom, he looked at me. I felt his gaze on me going from bottom to top. Feeling uncomfortable and I break the awkward silence by saying “How do i look?”

“So how was the party?” Ginger asks me excitingly as I put my books in my locker. I grin showing all my teeth.Last night was amazing, I finally got the guy’s number whose name was Brian. He was quite nice and no, I did not try any lame pick up lines on him. Once was enough thank you very much. I showed Dalon his number and he was impressed. The DJ finally came after an hour and I liked his songs, he even complimented my song choices. So I was happy the end of the day.

Friday came faster than I expected. I had invited Ginger to my place for a video game battle after school. She was okay with it. I guess i just wanted to see her face when Chris comes home. Ginger left an hour after Chris came home. We both watched an action movie and ate snacks from the fridge. At about 5, mom and dad came home.When mom saw Chris her face immediately brightened up. She hugged him and kissed his face so many times i lost count.“Mom stop! Im getting all of your lipstick on my face!” Chris whines.
