I combed my hair and left my hair fall to my shoulders. Since i didn’t know how to put make up on properly i just went with one of mom’s lip glosses. I finally started walking on heels properly and i knew how to stop and keep my balance thankfully. I leave the house making sure i locked the front door and wait for Dalon since he was my ride there and home.Once he came out saying bye to his mom, he looked at me. I felt his gaze on me going from bottom to top. Feeling uncomfortable and I break the awkward silence by saying “How do i look?”

“So how was the party?” Ginger asks me excitingly as I put my books in my locker. I grin showing all my teeth.Last night was amazing, I finally got the guy’s number whose name was Brian. He was quite nice and no, I did not try any lame pick up lines on him. Once was enough thank you very much. I showed Dalon his number and he was impressed. The DJ finally came after an hour and I liked his songs, he even complimented my song choices. So I was happy the end of the day.

Friday came faster than I expected. I had invited Ginger to my place for a video game battle after school. She was okay with it. I guess i just wanted to see her face when Chris comes home. Ginger left an hour after Chris came home. We both watched an action movie and ate snacks from the fridge. At about 5, mom and dad came home.When mom saw Chris her face immediately brightened up. I got up at about 9:30 in the morning and took a shower. After the shower, i dressed into my usual wear. I took my phone downstairs and sat with everyone on the dining table. Surprisingly everyone was there before i was. Usually its Chris whose always late.I put my phone on table and started having my breakfast. My phone started to vibrate, making me raise my eyebrows. Who is messaging me now? I look around and see everyone staring at me and then my phone.
