Danciana's Point Of View

I stormed into the children's ward, my heart pounding with anger and frustration. The sight that greeted me made my blood boil even more. There sat Aurelia, comfortably positioned next to the little girl. How dare she? I had expected her to be confined to her miserable dungeon, locked away from the rest of us. What had changed in my absence? How could a mere few days ruin everything I had worked so hard to achieve?

Suppressing my rage, I tried to compose myself as a nurse noticed my presence and called out my name. Aurelia's attention was suddenly diverted towards us, and she quickly stood up, her eyes filled with a mix of anticipation and worry. I could tell she had missed me, but that didn't matter to me.
