After one last discussion about how to stay safe while hiking in the Alaskan mountains and the forest, which animals to look out for and how to keep from getting injured. Robin grabs his rucksack and rifle before they head out the door, lock it and start walking.

Robin takes Cammie to the edge of his property line, it’s a large area that is attached to his fathers property. The further they go, the denser the forest becomes as they walk uphill towards the cliff that can be seen in the distance.

Once the cliff comes into sight, Robin immediately sees a change in Cammie’s demeanour. From the moment she laid eyes on the cliff side, he could see she’d become withdrawn, quiet and her face furrowed along her brow. Her lips pursed together tightly with worry and he could tell her mind was in a dark place.
