“What is it, Liam? What's with the intense staring?” I asked, getting sick and tired of Liam's fixated gaze.

“Are you being serious, Nick? Are you seriously going to pretend like you don't understand why I'm staring right now? When are you going to explain to me what exactly is going on here?” he responded, and I furrowed my brows, pretending to be confused.

“What do you mean by that? What else is there for me to explain to you?” I asked, even though I knew what he was talking about.

I could understand why he was questioning me, but I just didn't think I was ready to explain myself to him and frankly, I don't see a reason to. I trusted Liam completely, but I just didn't feel like telling him anything more than he already knows.
