Lydia

It was nighttime and my judgement day had finally come.

The surrounding air had become still all of a sudden, and it felt like I was going to stop breathing any moment now.

I was repeatedly breathing in and out just to control myself and to also keep my emotions in check, but my nervousness and my fear weren't letting me gain control over my emotions. I was currently on my knees with both my hands tied to the back and my legs were also tied like that of a common criminal.

About five guards were standing a few feet away from me and I also saw some spectators from a distance that were most likely here to watch my misery which will be to their amusement.

Since my emotions were all over the place, it was taking a lot out of me not to burst into tears. I felt very frustrated, especially because I knew I was innocent, and I did not deserve whatever it is that the alpha had in store for me.
