“I can assure you, Liam, that girl is not a normal person, and I'm confident that there's an ulterior motive that she has,” I confidently said to Liam, who for some reason is so confident that Lydia was a good person and that she was harmless.

I certainly couldn't understand his reasons for trusting her so blindly, even if there were so many things that just didn't make sense about her.

“At this point, if I'm being honest with you Nicholas, you're starting to sound almost obsessed with her and the sooner you realize that you can't convince me that she's a bad person, the better it's going to be for both of us,” he responded, and I couldn't believe him.

“You're not even trying to think things through, Liam. That girl is not as innocent and as timid as she's trying to portray herself to be and you, as the idiot that you are, are refusing to see her for what she is. She's a snake and I can bet on everything, but there's something fishy going on with her,” I retorted.
