Davina’s POV

Before the clock strikes at midnight, I’m already at the edge of the forest, giving up control for Rowena to take her wolf form.

I spent the whole time locking myself in the living room, deeply thinking about everything that happened to me ever since I left Devils Lake to this day.

I went through every emotion and every feeling. I’ve analyzed all my behavior towards Jude, Robert, and Ian and made up my mind about them.

I needed that time alone to comprehend all my feelings and sort them out. Figure out who was wrong and who was not, who can really be forgiven and given a second chance and who cannot.

I was going to have a long chat with Jude about everything because I could no longer; physically nor emotionally, bear to push him away anymore.

He became an important part of my life that I couldn’t stay away from for a long time.

I just wanted to have that talk after our wolves were done with their special time.

Five minutes later, I smell Jude’s scent approaching.
