I stared at myself in the mirror, releasing a small sigh once I finished tying my shoelaces. The outfit was quite on brand for me but a part of me couldn't help but doubt my fashion sense. Especially with the revelation that had rocked my world only a couple of moments before. I had never doubted my fashion sense. It was a comfortable range that I had settled on and stuck to despite Luci's constant nagging for me to change.

I doubt the Nobles in the North will be so welcoming to a grunge-dressed lady whose favorite color is Black...

I groaned in frustration at the very thought. Exhaustion waded through me at the very prospect of engaging in any kind of altercation with the prim and proper nobles of the North.

"How in the world did I end up here? If this is your way of punishing me for what I said about Mate Bonds then I'm sorry. Just...get me out of this."
