Chapter 33:Meeting I

***Josh's POV***

"Hello, welcome to the Blackwood pack." I welcomed Mason's mate, Mark, after I waited for him for over forty minutes.

"Hello," he said, averting his gaze. He looks awkward and nervous, as if he has been invited into a lion’s den. Mark appears to be innocent. I wonder why the moon goddess was so cruel and paired him with a selfish bastard like Mason.

He was a short, frail looking man whose aura was giving off innocence. His skin was pale with freckles on his cheeks. His eyes were emerald green and he was about 5’2.

From his scent, I could tell straight away that he was an omega.

"Shall we? "

"Yes, please.. lead the way," he says with a nod.

I led him into the room adjoining the conference room on the first floor. Just like the Alpha suggested.

"Please have a seat, the meeting will start shortly", I informed him.
