Chapter 38: Attack In The Woods

I flashed into the darkest corner of the cold dungeon and gazed at the weak man hanging in the middle of the interrogation area. His legs and hands were extended and chained with silver, which was burning his skin and draining his energy and strength.

He went stiff when he felt my presence in the room.

"Who is there?" He asked in a trembling voice. His dull blue eyes slowly searched the room for me.

"Who else will it be?" I sneered, moving into the light.

On seeing me, his low heart rate increased and his eyes widened. His breath became shallow as he wheezed, finding it difficult to breathe properly.
