Chapter 29: He will get over it

"I divorced Olivia," he said in a broken voice and dropped the signed document in an envelope on the table.

"I am so sorry to hear that my baby," she said hugging him but inwardly she rejoice

Mrs Carter asked one of the servants to prepare one of the guest rooms for Ethan. He sat down for a while and waited for his mother to finish with the servant.

"So how did it all happen?" she asked sitting on the sofa adjacent to the one Ethan was sitting on

"Mum, let's do this some other time," he replied not ready to talk about details.

He divorced Olivia because he felt he was doing so many mistakes with her by his side. It may sound stupid but he needed to put a stop to some of the things happening.
