"Ari, baby, let's talk about this first. Let's sort the issue out between us. Don't be like this." Elliot urges, trying to do his best to somehow get Ariella to speak with him.

"Elliot, go and leave now! Leave me alone. I don't want to see you or talk to you." Ariella responded through tears and muffled cries.

"You don't mean that, Ari, sweetie. Let's talk about this now. Let me explain everything first." Elliot may be unable to tolerate Ari's contemptuous attitude, but he needs to speak with her and explain everything to her. He can't let Matt win yet another game.

Ariella shrieked and pushed him with all her might, "I said, leave me the fuck alone, Elliot. What is so hard to understand?"

Elliot is undoubtedly heartbroken to see Ari in such a situation. He is actually attempting to regulate his own impulses so as not to add to the problems he has at hand. He needs to start thinking clearly and firmly and let Ari know that he couldn't agree with her leaving her at this moment.
