FAZER LOGINElona's POV
I couldn't sleep for the rest of the evening. I am not sure how many rounds Mr. Crane went with whomever she was. I should not care because we wouldn't ever be together and it would be wrong. Mr. Crane can date whomever he wants and I do not have any say in that because I am his daughter's best friend and he is my dad's friend. I can only have feelings for him at a distance.
Crislynn was fast asleep. I got out of bed and I walked out the bedroom, closing the door behind me. I was barefoot as I looked down the hallway. It was quiet. I tiptoed as I went to the kitchen. I looked inside the fridge, dressed in shorts and a tank top. What the hell do I eat? There was a bunch of veg and... I sighed as I went through everything. There was no fruit and then I closed the door of the fridge.
"Here," I jumped in fright. I turned around with my hand on my chest as my heart was beating wildly in my chest.
"Mr. Crane," I whispered. He was holding a banana out to me. I looked at him, he was smirking as he held his gaze on me. He was close, almost in my personal space.
"Sorry that I scared you," he said as I took the banana from him.
"Thanks," I said as I inspected it. He moved further into the kitchen. This kitchen was a bit smaller to move around in. They had two kitchens but the smaller one had been used since aunt Estelle died. The bigger kitchen was at the other end of the house. Usually, when they had family over, they would use that section of the house. This part is just a perfect fit for Crislynn and Mr. Crane because it was only the two of them.
He washed his hands by the sink and I noticed that he was only wearing his boxer briefs. He was bare chested and I couldn't take my eyes off him. "I doubt you saw the chocolate cake in the fridge," he said as he stood in front of me. I moved out of the way as he opened the fridge and took out a little container. There it was...the chocolate cake. It was my favorite. "I have saved it for you because I know how much you enjoy it and Crislynn would finish it all in no time." he placed it on the counter before turning around. It was like I couldn't speak. I was taking in every inch of his body.
He came closer to me, his bulge was huge even though it was flaccid. F^ck, I should snap out of it because he just f^cked someone. My breath hitched as he stepped closer to me, his chest coming into view, closer to my face, "Sorry," he rasped as I looked up. His hand extended above me but his forest green eyes held mine, they became darker as if time had stood still.
I moved my gaze to his Adam's apple, it bobbed as he swallowed. He moved away, smirking as he had the plate that he was reaching for, and he turned around. My eyes landed on his ass. I snapped out of it. I was still holding the banana in my hand.
He turned around but this time, he had a fork with a piece of cake on it and he moved closer to me. "Open," he demanded. I complied, opening my mouth, he brought the fork close to my mouth until it was inside. Closing my mouth around it, he slowly removed the fork while he held my gaze.
The cake was lovely, I chewed, but his hand came towards my jaw, his thumb moved over my bottom lip, removing the smudge of icing that was on my bottom lip, his eyes following his movement until they held my gaze again. I swallowed. "That cake is my favorite too," he said, his thumb lingered. "The cake reminds me of you...sweet and lovable," I swallowed again. I was not sure what to say or do.
"Thank you," I breathed.
He chuckled before removing his thumb and turning away from me. "You can have the rest of the cake. I was here to grab a banana but I thought that you needed it more than me. I hope that I wasn't too loud for you though. I mean...Maggie can be loud," he said.
"Um, I guess you have to do what you need to. Mr.Crane," I replied, as that really snapped me out of my trance. That was a mood killer right there talking about the woman he just f^cked countless times in one evening. He turned around to face me again.
"Tristan...you can call me Tristan," he said. I nodded.
"Tristan, I think that it is a good thing that you have moved on. You did tell us that we would hear you and we did. I just hope that you enjoy yourself and-"
"There you are," Crislynn said as she brushed past us to get to the fruit bowl that was at the other end of the kitchen counter. She grabbed an apple. "So, I hear that you have moved on," she said. I bit my bottom lip, as I looked at the kitchen counter.
"Yeah and I am having fun. Thank you for encouraging me," he replied. I felt a tinge of disappointment but there was nothing that would happen, so why do I hope that there would be? I have to remind myself that my friendship with Cris is too precious to lose and my relationship with my father was way more precious because he is my only parent.
"I'm happy to know that. Maybe in future you can warn us because we do not need to hear all of that," she said, as bubbly as she is.
"I got it. I didn't think that you would have a friend over," he looked over at me and I moved my gaze to Cris.
"My bad," she replied. "Oh, Elona and I are going out to the club tomorrow, so don't wait up for me."
"No, you are not allowed to go to a club and this is your first time. Do you know what type of sick guys there are?" he scowled at her.
"Dad, we are going, we are eighteen. Let us live," she responded.
"Over my dead body, you are both not going. Does your father know about this?" this time he was scowling at me and I felt as if I was a little girl being scolded at.
"No, he doesn't know yet," I replied.
"You will not go. Cris, I am against this and you need to listen to me. I will be worried sick about you both."
"Relax, dad. I am sure that your lady is waiting for you in the bedroom." she tried to get him to leave the kitchen.
"I don't give a f^ck about her right now. My concern is for both of you. I will go with you if that is the last resort, so that I can keep an eye on both of you."
"No! Fine, you win, dad. Geez, you need to relax more, you will give yourself a heart attack before your older age." she scoffed. She brushed past us as she left the kitchen, clearly upset with Tristan. He watched me.
"You won't go either. Make sure of that," he demanded, and then he moved closer to me, my breath hitching. "Are you going to eat that?" he asked.
I looked at the banana in my hand, "Um...no."
He took it from me, his hands brushed mine as I looked up at him, "Good, because I was about to eat this earlier. I just didn't want to see you hungry as I watched you from the dinner table, scratching around for something to eat. I hope that the cake satisfies you." he smirked before he left me.
I let out a huge breath, so he was sitting at the dinner table, about to eat that banana but saw me instead and gave it to me. He was watching me. All the time, I thought that he was in the bedroom fast asleep. My heart was still beating wildly because of what had taken place. The glances that we shared, the intimate moment where he removed the icing from my bottom lip and his lingering touch. I was wet in my panties...I wanted him.
This was the first time that I really saw him not wearing much. That is an image that I cannot get out of my head, it is ingrained into my mind. He just made it worse for me. Maybe if I hadn't left the bedroom, then I wouldn't have felt this way. My crush on him was growing deeper and I wanted to stop it from escalating to something more than I could handle. I can't have him and I need to move on somehow.
I took the plastic container and sat down at the dinner table which was partially dark, to eat the cake that he had left for me. At least this is something that I can enjoy from him. But it was only a reminder of his touch everytime that he inserted the fork into my mouth. This was not going to help me.
Elona's POVThe summer sun blazed overhead as I took a leisurely dip in the pool. The cool water caressed my skin, offering respite from the heat. I couldn't help but feel a sense of freedom and euphoria as I swam, my body moving effortlessly through the crystal-clear water.Crislynn was sprawled out on a sun lounger nearby, a book in hand but her attention far from its pages. Her auburn hair, pinned up into a messy bun and her sunglasses hid the knowing glint in her eyes. Tristan was out of my sight, lost in the grandeur of the luxurious house. I didn't like that Maggie was still here, but who am I to say anything when nothing is happening between Tristan and I?As I pushed myself through the water, my senses were heightened, attuned to the world around me. I couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment because of Tristan and Maggie. That is when I heard the approaching footsteps from the house, each one echoing in the stillness of the afternoon. It was Tristan. My heart quickened
Tristan's POVI returned to my bedroom, my mind a whirlwind of thoughts. Elona's presence in the kitchen had ignited a storm of emotions, a relentless yearning I was determined to quell. She was very young, my daughter's best friend, and my closest confidante's child. Entertaining such desires was a dangerous game I couldn't afford to play.Maggie, the woman who had accompanied me home, had been patient enough. She was lying on the bed, her legs crossed sensually as she gazed at me with sultry eyes."What took you so long, Tristan?" she purred, her fingers tracing circles on the bedspread. "I have been waiting for you."I tried to push Elona's image from my mind as I approached Maggie, her alluring presence a stark contrast to the turmoil in my head. I leaned in to kiss her, but my heart wasn't in it. My thoughts were consumed by the young woman who I had just left in the kitchen.Maggie, direct and assertive, pulled away, her brows furrowing. "What is wrong? You have been acting so d

Elona's POVThe night air was cool and crisp as Crislynn and I sat on the steps of her house, staring up at the canvas of stars that stretched endlessly above us. The world around us was quiet, save for the occasional rustle of leaves and the distant chirping of crickets. It was the perfect backdrop for the kind of conversation only best friends could have.Crislynn turned to me, her eyes reflecting the distant stars. "You know, sometimes I feel like we are just tiny specks in the grand scheme of things, like those stars up there."I nodded, captivated by the depth of the night sky. "It's humbling, isn't it? We have all these dreams and plans, but in the grand cosmos, we are just a tiny part of it."Crislynn chuckled softly. "Yeah, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't chase our dreams with all our might. I mean, look at you, aspiring model extraordinaire!"I grinned, my heart warmed by her support. "And you, future world-changing journalist. We are going to make our mark on this world."
Tristan's POVAs I sat on the plush barstool, the cool glass of whiskey in my hand offering little solace, I couldn't help but let my thoughts drift to Elona. It was impossible not to. She had grown into a stunning young woman, and each day, she became more captivating, more confident, and more irresistible. The pain was still fresh in my heart, a constant reminder of the void left by Estelle, my beloved wife, who had been taken from me too soon. The warmth of her laughter, the way her eyes sparkled when she looked at me, those memories were etched into my soul. It had crushed my spirit, and I didn't know if I could ever make it without her. She was my one true love and that drunk bastard drove into her. It was a rainy evening and my wife lost her life due to that person. He died too. Unfortunately, I couldn't punish him because I was going to make him suffer in prison.I tried to be there for my daughter, Crislynn, and I tried to be strong in front of her. Once I would be in my bedro
Elona's POVI was tossing and turning the entire evening because of the essay that Mr Crane wrote. Was he admitting his feelings for me? I tapped my pen on my creative writing book. I rewrote the essay in my own handwriting last night and I handed it in this morning. The students were chatting softly amongst themselves in class as Miss Johnson was going through papers as she sat behind her desk."I heard that our dad's are going to the bar tonight," Crislynn said softly. I looked over at her. She had a smirk on her face. "Do you want to sleep over tonight at my place?" she asked."I don't know if I should, I mean...I don't know if your dad would be okay with that," I replied. She scoffed, "My dad won't mind. You have slept over by me since we were little. What has changed now?" she smiled as if I was crazy.I shrugged. "We are older now, perhaps he wants you both to have your space.""Elona, you are sleeping over and I'm not taking no for an answer," she demanded. There was no way tha
