I swallowed hard and turned around, almost falling. There was an unexplainable weakness and warmth in my legs as I turned to face the man. It had been a long time since I had felt sexually turned on just by someone's presence. I had never felt that. Without physical touch, I had never felt horny. I had not even really been touched in a sexual way before that made me feel horny. I was simply uncomfortable with most of it.

Suddenly I remembered Marcus and my heart clenched painfully. Then there was a sudden form of guilt that Marcus had never made me feel sexually aroused as much as this strange man had. Maybe he had noticed that and that was what—

"Hey," he whispered sensually, cutting off my train of thought. He was wearing a black dress shirt that was unbuttoned all the way down. His chest was ripped with packs of abs that disappeared dangerously into the low-waist jeans he was wearing. "You're staring." He breathed in a ragged manner. He seemed to move a bit closer to me and his hands leaned on the counter behind me, trapping me. I watched as his muscles moved with every slight movement of his body. It was appealing in the most unholy manner. Something about them made me want to trace those muscles with my fingers.

I looked up, finally seeing the face of the man who had grabbed the cereal for me. He was the most handsome man I had ever seen with the most chiseled jawline. His eyes were a dark enchanting stormy gray colour with flecks of blue and green in them. A muscle in his jaw ticked slightly and then he gave me a small smile. He had a dimple on one side of his face which added icing to the cake.

How could anyone be so perfect?

This man was a literal Greek god. He did not look like a real human being but rather like a carefully sculpted work of art. His skin was well-tanned as well; the definition of sunkissed male beauty.

"Are you done staring?" He asked, searching my eyes with his grey ones. There was a slight smirk on his face. I sucked in a sharp and hasty breath trying to move backward but I was trapped by the kitchen counter and his muscular tattooed arms. His smirk turned into a lopsided grin. This man seemed to be enjoying my discomfort.

Swallowing hard, I finally mustered the courage to speak after finding my voice. "Excuse me."

He took a step backwards, slowly removing his hands from the countertop and watched me as I walked towards the island with the box of cereal. My legs wobbled with each step I took, and I almost fell as I sat on a stool. I avoided his eyes but I could feel his piercing gaze on my back. His eyes seemed to be following me.

"You forgot to get a bowl," he smiled when I finally looked up at him. "Are you going to eat cereal straight from the box?" His eyebrows were raised comically as he spoke.

Opening another cupboard, he grabbed a bowl and spoon for me, then opened the fridge and got some milk. "Warm or cold milk? Which do you prefer for your cereal."

"Cold," I swallowed. My brain was foggy.

"Weird," he muttered walking over to me. From behind me, he dropped the bowl in front of me and poured some milk into the bowl. Then he grabbed the cereal box from my shaky hands and poured it for me. "Enjoy."

"Thank you," I whispered shakily.

"You have a nice back," he commented. His fingers touched them briefly and then briskly, he walked to the opposite end of the island and took a seat. "I'm Glen."

"Addison ," I replied.

"Addison Rodriguez?" He asked.

Nodding, I took the first bite of my cereal.

"You have a powerful name Addison Rodriguez. It's beautiful."

"Thank you." I was feeling shy in his presence and was very cautious of every bite of the meal I took.

"Sorry, there's nothing better for you to eat. The chef is on leave and the pantry has not been stocked. The house is pretty new.”

"It's okay really," I muttered.

"I'll cook you a proper meal tomorrow morning."

"Oh, no you don't have to."

"I will," he winked. "So who are you?"

"Addison ," I repeated.

"That's your name, not who you are."

"Um..." I was unsure of how to reply to him. "I'm Leslie 's friend."

"So the best friend huh?" He had a grin. "She is always on a phone call with you even when you two aren't talking but doing stuff."

"Yeah." I took another bite of the cereal.

"I'm her stepfather," he said. "Or stepfather-to-be."

I could not control myself from spitting out the food from my mouth. "What?" I spluttered. I thought Leslie had been exaggerating about her mother's fiance.

He grinned and cut a piece of kitchen paper and began to wipe the table. I stood up hastily to grab it from him since it was my fault the island was a mess.

As our hands touched, I could feel a crackle of electricity pass between us. Slowly, he turned his head to face me. My eyes melted into his. To say the least, I was starstruck.

I removed my hands slowly from his and he let the paper towel drop on the table. He cut another bit while staring at me. Then with intentionality in his eyes, he held my face with his left hand and used his right hand to wipe my lips with the paper towel. Afterwards, he threw it in a bin, his hands still holding my face.

The proximity between us was too close for comfort. Our noses were almost rubbing and our lips were only a few inches from each other's. Instinctively, I bit my lip slowly. His thumb brushed my lips, pulling them away from my teeth. I could swear his dipped lower.

"I see that you have met my husband," a voice said, interrupting the moment.

I was still staring at Jack with a spoon in my mouth when something over his shoulder caught my attention. At first, I thought I imagined it, then I saw him clearly. Romeo. He had just stepped out of a store further down the mall corridor, walking beside the same suited man I had seen earlier. The conversation I had been half listening to with Jack instantly faded from my mind. All I could think about was the fact that I had finally found Romeo again after losing him earlier. Without even realizing what I was doing, I grabbed my bag and stood up so quickly my chair scraped against the floor. Jack looked up in confusion, “Addison? Are you okay?” “I’ll talk to you later!” I threw my bag over my shoulder quickly. Before he could ask anything else, I rushed out of the café. My eyes locked onto Romeo immediately. He and the suited man were walking slowly through the corridor, speaking quietly to each other. I slowed my pace just enough to keep a reasonable distance behind them.

“Addison…” I blinked at him, still frozen in the middle of the mall, of all the people I could have bumped into while secretly trailing Glenn’s secretary, Jack was probably the last person I expected to see. “You?” he added, his brows pulling together slightly. “What are you doing here?” His words came out quickly, shock still in his eyes but something about his tone felt… distracted. Before I could even answer, I noticed his eyes scanning the mall behind me, from the left then to the right. It felt like he was looking for someone or rather making sure someone wasn’t looking for him. “Jack?” I said slowly. His gaze snapped back to me almost like he had forgotten I was standing there. “Yeah?” he replied. “Are you okay?” He let out an awkward chuckle, “yeah, of course.” I may not have known Jack for a long time but he had never been good at lying. On a normal day, he would laugh, tease, make some ridiculous joke to brush things off. Right now? He looked teased, making it v

After I had finished dressing up, I headed straight to the living room, Glen was scrolling through his iPad, his face unreadable but with the glasses that were on the bridge of his nose made him irresistible. I cleared my throat to gain his attention, "I'm heading back home now," I said softly. He raised up his face to me, wearing a big smile on his face, "you’ve got everything right?" I nodded gently and went in for a hug, he stood up and held me tightly, pecking me on my head, "see you soon but text me as soon as you get home, okay?" "Okay..." I waved at him and headed straight to the parking lot where Romeo was already waiting for me. **** Romeo pulled up in front of my house with the same calm, polite smile he had worn the entire ride, he stepped out to open the door for me like some perfectly trained gentleman. For someone who supposedly worked as a secretary, he carried himself with the quiet alertness of a bodyguard. “Thank you,” I said as I stepped out. “My pleasur

  • My Bestie's Dad Popped My Cherry   CHAPTER 53: MAFIA

Addison’s POVI was only half awake when I realized Glen wasn’t beside me anymore. My body still felt heavy from the exhausting night we had shared. Every muscle ached in the lazy, pleasant way that comes after too much passion and too little sleep. I kept my eyes closed, reaching out across the mattress without thinking, my hand tapped against the empty space beside me.I frowned slightly and forced my eyes open. The wide bed was messy, the blankets twisted around my legs, but Glen was nowhere in sight. “Great,” I muttered softly to myself. My throat felt dry and I was suddenly very aware of how thirsty I was. With a quiet sigh, I pushed myself up and glanced around for something to wear. One of Glenn’s shirts lay crumpled at the edge of the bed, probably tossed there sometime during the night. I grabbed it and slipped it over my body, the fabric falling loosely against my thighs. The penthouse was quiet as I stepped out of the bedroom. I padded softly across the floor toward th

  • My Bestie's Dad Popped My Cherry   CHAPTER 52: SHE MUST NEVER KNOW THE TRUTH

Glen's POVI stood by the edge of the bed for longer than I should have. The room was quiet except for the soft rhythm of Addison’s breathing.Moonlight filtered through the tall glass windows of the penthouse, painting faint silver lines across the sheets where she slept. Her hair was scattered over the pillow, slightly messy from the night we had just shared, and the blanket had slipped low around her waist.I should have gone back to sleep but I found myself pacing slowly across the room, my eyes drifting back to her every few seconds like I couldn’t quite pull myself away.Something about this woman had gotten under my skin in a way I couldn’t explain.I had been with plenty of women before but somehow Addison was different.I leaned against the wall near the window, folding my arms as I watched her shift slightly in her sleep. She murmured something under her breath, though I couldn’t make out the words.A small frown tugged at my mouth."What the hell happened to me?"Attraction

My eyes flickered gently looking at him with a soft gaze, "how do you want to show me that?"He carried me gently, my legs wrapped around his waist as we made way to the room, he closed the door behind him making way to the bed.Glen slowly placed me on the bed, knelt down while placing a soft kiss on my hand, "by making you feel like the queen you are."He slowly removed his shirt, showing his beautiful toned chest but something caught my eyes, the place that was bandaged days ago had a small covering.I tried to reach for it but he stopped my hand completely, "don't..." he slightly pushed my face with his finger to look at his, "focus your eyes here."Slowly, he pushed me back hovering over me, trailing soft kisses on my neck then looked at my eyes with such softness I had never witnessed since being with me."With the way you're looking at me, one would think I'm a glass that's too fragile to be touched," I said softly but my body ached for his touch. He chuckled softly then placed
