Back in the present, Yut exhaled slowly.

The apple remained untouched.

His eyes returned to Pat.

The sleeping man looked younger somehow.

Less guarded.

Less defensive.

Less angry at the world.

Yut carefully placed the knife down.

Then moved closer.

For a long moment, he simply sat there.

Watching.

Thinking.

Feeling.

Eventually, he reached out.

His fingers lightly brushed against Pat's cheek.

Warm.

Soft.

Real.

His hand lingered.

Then gently slid into Pat's.

Holding it between both of his own.

Back in the present, Yut exhaled slowly. The apple remained untouched. His eyes returned to Pat.The sleeping man looked younger somehow.Less guarded.Less defensive.Less angry at the world.Yut carefully placed the knife down. Then moved closer. For a long moment, he simply sat there.Watching.Thinking.Feeling.Eventually, he reached out.His fingers lightly brushed against Pat's cheek.Warm.Soft.Real.His hand lingered. Then gently slid into Pat's.Holding it between both of his own.Carefully.Protectively.As though afraid he might break.Yut lowered his eyes."Let me in, Pat."His voice was barely above a whisper."I promise to take care of you."The words disappeared into the quiet room. Then suddenly,The door burst open."Tee!"Yut immediately stood.Tee rushed inside. His expression fell the moment he saw the hospital bed.The IV line. The monitor. The sleeping figure."Pat... Pat."His voice cracked slightly. He hurried to the bedside and touched Pat's forehead.Relief

The room was dark. Not completely dark, just enough for the shadows to swallow everything except the faint rays of sunlight struggling through the curtains.Pat lay curled beneath the duvet. His face was pale. His breathing was uneven.Every few minutes, a violent cough tore through his chest, leaving his body trembling afterward. His fever had gotten worse.Much worse. The heat burning beneath his skin made him ache all over, while the chills beneath the blanket refused to leave him alone. He felt miserable.Hot.Cold.Heavy.Even lifting a finger felt exhausting.Things were getting out of hand.Yet he was too weak to do anything about it.Pat slowly turned onto his side.A painful groan escaped his lips as he reached for his phone from the bedside table. His fingers trembled. His vision blurred. The screen illuminated his pale face.Without thinking, he opened his contacts.Tee.His thumb hovered over the name.Almost immediately, images of Tee flashed through his mind.Tee forcing

“I went out with Yut to watch hockey yesterday,” Pat murmured quietly. The confession came so suddenly that Tee almost choked on his coffee. He lowered the mug and looked at Pat over the rim.“Oh?”A teasing smile appeared.“So you finally called him.”Pat immediately frowned.“No, I didn't call him.”Tee laughed.“Sure.”“I didn't.”“You're blushing already.”“I'm not blushing.”“You are.”Pat grabbed a cushion and threw it at him. Tee caught it effortlessly.“Violence. Nice.”Pat rolled his eyes before finally sighing.“I was thinking about calling him.”“There we go.”“But he called first.”Tee's smile widened.“He asked if I was bored.”“And?”Pat looked away.“He said he'd like to keep me company.”The words sounded casual.Yet they lingered.Pat sat down on the couch opposite Tee and rested both elbows on his knees.Tee picked up the television remote from the center table and switched on the TV. The screen lit up instantly, filling the room with the sound of a random morning p

The elevator climbed steadily toward the upper floors.Pat stood alone inside, hands tucked into his pockets, watching the floor numbers light up one after another.A faint smile lingered on his lips.He hated admitting it.Especially to himself. But tonight had been...Nice.The hockey game. The dinner. The effortless conversations. And Yut.Pat exhaled softly. The man had a way of making things feel lighter.Safer.For the first time in years, someone wasn't demanding his heart.Wasn't trying to fix him.Wasn't asking him to move on.Yut simply stayed.Patiently.Warmly.Without pressure. And somehow that made Pat's chest feel strangely comfortable.Comfortable enough to be dangerous.Pat frowned. He didn't like that thought."No."His expression hardened. He wasn't making that mistake again. He knew what happened when people became important. He knew what it felt like to lose them.Once had been enough. The elevator chimed softly. The doors slid open.Pat stepped into the hallway.

The game was intense.FastAggressiveThe crowd constantly shifted between excitement and heartbreak.Several times the stadium erupted into thunderous applause after spectacular saves and goals.Pat shouted at least three times.Denied it every time. And nearly stood from his seat when his team scored.Unfortunately...His team still lost.Badly.As spectators began leaving the arena afterward, Pat walked toward the exit looking personally offended.Yut couldn't stop laughing. The drive back was peaceful. The city lights reflected across the windshield as traffic flowed steadily through Bangkok's evening streets.Pat remained mostly quiet.Yut didn't force conversation.Sometimes companionship didn't need words.Sometimes simply sharing silence was enough.………..“Khun..."A distant voice called.Nothing."Khun..."A little louder this time.Still nothing.A hand tapped his shoulder gently."Khun."Tee groaned. His brow furrowed. The world felt impossibly heavy.Another tap. Finally,

Pat stepped out of his condominium building just as the morning breeze swept through the quiet street.Dressed in a fitted black sports jacket over a gray team jersey, joggers, and white sneakers, he looked relaxed in a way he hadn't been for a long time.Well...Almost relaxed. His hands remained tucked inside his pockets as he waited near the entrance.A few moments later, the low hum of an approaching engine caught his attention.A sleek black SUV rolled smoothly down the road before slowing to a stop directly in front of him.The driver's door opened.Yut stepped out.He wore a navy team jersey that hugged his frame comfortably, black joggers, and running shoes. His hair looked slightly messy from the wind, giving him a more youthful appearance than usual. The moment he saw Pat, a smile appeared on his face."Khun, I hope you haven't been waiting too long."Pat shook his head."No."Yut looked visibly relieved."Good."Without waiting for permission, Pat walked past him and opened
