Chapter 20 I Promise You

A black Benz stops in front of the hotel and two men, come out of it. They both look up at the hotel and look back at a signal on a phone showing red and green. The one dressed in a white suit them asks,

“Ed, why is your phone showing two signals? Which one is Cecelia and which one is the other?”

Edward frowns and creases his brows then he asks to no one in particular,

“Why are they both here? And in the same room?”

A scene passes through his eyes and he looks at the guy with him with his eyes wide opened and he starts rushing into the building. The guy in white looks at his retrieving figure as if he is watching a horror movie and he says to himself,

“What could it be for that imperturbable person to be perturbed? Am I living to see this day or am I a ghost now?”

She shakes his head and rushes behind him, the elevator is about to close with Edward inside that he barely made it inside. He breaths tiredly and he finds it hard to talk but he manages to say,
