Lexi’s POV

His eyes scaled me from my head to my toe and I shivered when he finally spoke, “Follow me.” His voice was so stern that for a moment I felt like my feet were glued to the ground but I knew better.

I knew better than to let him look back and repeat those same words to me. Hurriedly and without questions, I followed him down the hallway.

It felt like we were going to a different compartment in the house and with every step I took, fear washed through my veins.

Soon, Ivan stopped by a door and opened it. He ordered me to go in which I did without any questions asked. I have never been in any other room in the house before except for my room, the sitting room and the kitchen.

Everything including the air in this room felt new to me. The lights came on and a red light came on, the room was still pitch dark but it was also bright enough for me to see Ivan.
