Having decided it’s best to forget the incident that took place at her flat and move on, Liza realised it would be for her own good to resume work the following day.

She knew for a fact Mike didn’t make empty threats, and she wasn’t ready for another confrontation should he decide to come back for another visit. 

So, here she is, walking into her office the next day with trepidation and a prayer not to barge into Mike or any of the staff members. She really doesn’t want to answer any curious questions about her supposed health.
