From the other side of the room, Mike stood by the window with his gaze beyond the hospital walls. Looking at him, no one would suspect he was aware of every movement of the woman in the room.

He knew Liza was nervous and tensed about this visit of Stella. And earlier, when he saw she was potently worried about meeting her, he had decided to cancel the meeting, he did not want Stella or anybody coming around if it’s going to disturb her this much, but stubborn as she was, Liza had become more upset, telling him not to dare call it off else she would never forgive him.

Well, here they are, waiting for his secretary who might step in through the door at any moment from now and the more the time of their appointment draws near, the more the woman on the bed grows tense.

And the more she felt that way, the angrier Mike feels, blaming himself for having suggested the meeting
