Chapter Seventeen
The next morning Gemma woke up, feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. She felt she could take on the world with Grant by her side and she felt content. She enjoyed this feeling and the growing excitement for the weekend coming. She took a quick shower and wanted to see of Nicky was up yet. She got dressed, put on her makeup, and went downstairs.
Nicky was sitting on the patio already, with a steamy cup of coffee, looking very deep in thought.
"Morning, my dearest best friend." Gemma said in a sweet voice.

As Gemma came into the bathroom, the candles were lit again and there was a soft fragrance hanging in the air. Grant was already in the big bath, laying back with his eyes closed.
