I struggled to keep me afloat. The water was too strong, it swirled me along the current, and threw my arms and legs around like a ragdoll. Ethan jogged towards me steadily and scooped me up in his arms gently. He carried me to a hut, I think that’s how I could describe it, it was just like a hut, a semi-dome, made up of leaves. His eyes claimed mine possessively not letting them flutter away from his. The intensity of his gaze pinned me down, leaving me breathless. I wish I could fence myself in, from the electricity that draws me to him.
