Just a few distances away, the lifeless body of the Alpha lies sprawled in the dirt, his lips blackened, his eyes frozen wide in a silent scream. Poison. Panic ripples through the village as Warriors rush between huts, shouting and grabbing weapons, as they search for one person, but Torren already knows it.
