Isaac POV

After I had lunch with Jeff I went back to my work. So many documents are waiting for me to sign and review. I'm having a headache from the looks of it. I got myself busy again that I didn't realize the time passed by.

"Is my princess, already finished with her meetings? I thought to myself when I check the time on my watch. It's already past 6 in the evening. I should call her and check if she's ready to go.

I called her but her mobile phone is off, what's going on? She's not the kind of person who is turning off her phone. I should call her department.

"Jeff, please connect me to Ms. Lin". I called Jeff, I suddenly felt uneasy and I don't know why.

"Hello, Jones Publishing this is Carol Lin Editorial Department how can I help you? I heard Carol answer the call.

"Hi, Ms. Lin, this is Isaac, is Bettany still in the meeting?

"Mr. Jones, sorry but Ms. Bettany is not in the office right now. She didn't come back from her meeting outside. She informed me earlier to resched
