Lahat ng Kabanata ng My CEO Neighbor: Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 10

Ding...Dong... My eyes are slowly open to the sounds of my doorbell. I didn’t expect any visitors today so who is it? I ignore it and try to go back to my dreamland but that annoying sound didn’t stop. Maybe, it’s important so having no choice, I get up on the bed half-sleep with my eyes still closed, I don’t have enough sleep yesterday so I’m a little grumpy. Today is a weekend so I’m hoping I could sleep more but unfortunately; this damn doorbell rang. I opened the door and am ready to scold the person who disturbed my sleep. Once I fully open my eyes my mouth drops open, what a beautiful creature in the morning. I forgot that this person is the culprit why I'm wide awake now and disturbed my sleep. He has this dazzling aura that draws me in, he looks so fresh in the morning. He is tall and I almost looked up. His deep brown hair is short and neat. He spoke and my eyes trail to his red and soft lips. He made me feel weak just only of his gaze. I didn't notice my grip on my door tig

"Waaaaaahhhng Waaaaahhhng". "Oh shoot", I opened my eyes disoriented, and realized it was just my alarm. I turned it off and was planning to go back to sleep but I remember I have a meeting today and it's still the weekend. "Holy moly where's the justice when you still need some sleep but you can't get it even on the weekend". I started to prepare myself and after having breakfast I headed to the office. "Good Morning Ms. Wright". Greeted by our security guard. "Good Morning Mr. Ben, how's your weekend? Is everyone inside? "Good Ms. Wright only Ms. Cruz just arrived a few minutes ago". "Okay, I have to go then, see you around Mr. Ben." waving goodbye. When I enter the conference room, I saw Ms. Cruz organizing everything for the emergency meeting. "Ms. Cruz good morning." Good Morning, Ms. Wright, you are early do you need anything? "No, it's okay go on don't mind me here I will wait for the other directors to come". I sat on the last corner of the table and open my laptop to ki

“By the way Bett, I heard that you have a new owner and CEO of this company. Caleb asked “Yes actually Mr. Smith surprised us this weekend, he just told us and now we are still in an adjustment period although there are no changes in management except from our CEO”. I answered while waiting for the elevator to stop on our floor. “Oh, so how is your new boss look? Is he good-looking like me? he teases “Come on Caleb he’s looked far than yours, hahaha. I tease him back “I see so you’re eyeing your boss, is he that good-looking? “Stop your nonsense, Caleb, if someone hears you, they might believe it. I don't have the guts to have an eye on him. hahaha". “Okay, but why you’re blushing? Don't tell me he is your style?”. Ha, ha, ha, “No, it’s just hot here are you not hot, stop teasing me, Caleb”. The elevator dings and opened and I stopped. Caleb had already gone inside but I felt my feet get numb and freeze, I was stuck where I am when I saw who was inside the elevator. My face blu

I reached home late in the evening and I was exhausted. I went straight to my bed and wanted to change my night clothes and retired for the day but when I lay down on my bed I didn't notice I fell asleep immediately. Ring, Ring, Ring... I jolted from my sleep and picked up the phone. "Hello", I answered with a sleepy voice. "B are you sleeping already? my best friend questioned. "Yes, but thanks to you I am all awake now, why did you call this late? I answered with a grumpy voice. "Sorry B, I thought you would be still awake I just want to catch up with you today but it looks like you are damn tired". her voice got sad. "It's okay T, I'm awake now and it will be hard for me to go back to sleep at any moment, tell me how's your day gone? I went out of my bed and went to the bathroom to change my sleepwear dress. While I'm changing I switch it to the speaker phone and listen to my best friend. She told me all the details that happened to her for the whole day. After I changed I w

It was around 5 o'clock and my team started to leave the office. As usual, I am still at my desk doing my work. Sometimes I kinda regret that I accepted the position I have now. I needed time for myself to live, but I love my job as well. Helping authors inspire many people with their stories is worthy of my time. I love reading, it is one of my favorite things to do. Knock...knock... "Come in". I answered at the door. "Bett, I'm going now, do you need anything before I left? Carol asked. "I'm good Carol, you can go ahead and be safe on your way home". "Okay, you too, don't stay up late again". Carol reminded. "Okay, see you tomorrow. When Carol left I get back to my work. Time passed by and around 8 o'clock rain started to pour. I space out and stared at the rain outside my window. It's relaxing to watch the rain with a hot coffee in my hands. And that's what I'm doing now relaxing a bit after such a busy day. "Oh shoot, I forgot my car is still in maintenance. What a wrong ti
