ChAPTER ELEVEN

Leila knew there was nothing for her to arrange again. She stood akimbo as she stared at the cabinet in his office.

She had no idea what to do.

After doing nothing for a few minutes, she stepped out to let him know she was done arranging his office.

This time, he took a thorough look at it and nodded his head. He released her so he could do what he asked her to do.

Leila arranged a board meeting and prepared the presentation materials to be used.

After that, she ran errands for him.

Leila brought reports to his office.

He sent her back to prepare another report.

He found fault in whatever she did and shouted at her. Adam had just come in when he witnessed David flung the reports.

His eyes widened.

Anger flickered in David's eyes. Adam had never seen him mad at Leila before.

Leila picked up the scattered reports and headed out.
