I wake up to loud knocking and Kay calling my name. It takes everything for me to get out of bed. I don't think I have been asleep for up to fifteen minutes.

I ended up battling with my thoughts so it took longer for me to fall asleep. I sit upright and rub my eyes.

"Ash!" He yells, "Dinner is ready. Wake up!"

"I am coming," I yell back. "My voice sounds hoarse."

"What's taking so long?" He is still banging the door and I can feel the start of a headache.

I jump out of bed and pull open the door, "Will you quit it?" I yell into his face. "You've given me a headache." I scowl at him.

"Well, you weren't waking up. You can always take an aspirin after dinner."

"That is because you didn't even give me a couple seconds to process anything. I don't want a headache in the first place." I glare into his face.

He smirks and folds his arm. "I love the new hairstyle."
