A Greeting By Death

She felt nothing but blinding terror as the wolf lunged towards her with the intention of ripping her in shreds. Her bones turned to water when he let out a menacing snarl. She was so going to die. Her brain begged her to take off running but her feet refused to budge. Her body felt numb. Not even a shriek could escape her mouth.

Terror-stricken, she squeezed her eyes shut on the wolf. Her brain had shut down. She ad stopped breathing now and was waiting for the numbing pain to pierce through her and claim her life. 

But that didn't happen. Instead, she heard another growl, far more threatening malicious. There were two wolves here. Her eyes shot open at the realization. 

Her terror swelled twice over when she saw two wolves circling each other. One of them was the rouge who was about to attack her and the second one was.....her eyes turned wide with astonishment when she realized who the second one was. Only one wolf had fur as black as the night itse
