Chapter 13

Deejah's POV

It had been three days, since I made dad call on detectives to arrest that man. I didn't even know his name, though the sister had mentioned his name, but I couldn't remember what it was.

It was not like I even cared to know actually.

I should be happy that I got my revenge in a better way, but no, I couldn't actually pinpoint my exact feeling.

I wanted to talk to dad about it. He should let him go, because he had had enough of the suffering. After all, he was arrested to face hard labor and for the past three days, I had been already regretting the action dad took. It wasn't his fault entirely. I should also be blamed for taking the issue too seriously from the beginning.

I hated that sister of his more, because had it not been for her, everything would have been okay and that guy wouldn't have slapped me.
